God, Angels, And True Moral Supremacy

The Angels Game from Gary North is a great metaphysical post. But it leaves me with an indirect question.

Other people are deeply troubled by the question of evil, insisting that God can’t be all-powerful, all-good, and all-just while evil still exists. I have never worried about it, because

  1. The Rationalists merely want to replace “The Problem of Evil” with “Evil? No Problem!” (Hat tip to Douglas Wilson for that bit of wisdom – amply backed up with real-world evidence.)
  2. Humans certainly can behave like utterly self-centred fiends – and the smarter, wealthier, more powerful, and less restricted and restrained they are, the more comprehensively evil, oppressive, deceitful, and disgusting they behave. I simply refuse to recognize their right to judge God while they insist on justifying any and every nasty, cruel, delusional, and utterly depraved and evil act they care to imagine.
  3. Christ the King came to die for His people. That kind of kingly sacrifice was vanishingly rare in the pre-modern era (Do they even exist?), and simply impossible in the secular era of self-serving masters.

What rests on my mind is a different question: Why is God merciful?

There are an ample number of excellent reasons – some perfectly just and righteous, others simply reasonable and practical –  why humanity should have been extinguished with the rebellious act of Adam & Eve, or (alternatively) all humanity should have been condemned to hell.

Yet God refused to take the easy road – a road no one could reasonably deny Him – and instead took the difficult, pain-laden, humiliating, grindingly slow road.

Without the example of Christ, I would have insisted that God, by His very nature, can never be brave, self-sacrificial, courageous, or give Himself for the protection and safety of anything at all. I would have held these to be the incommunicable attributes of Man at his best.

And Moslems, Jews, and other speakers of the humanist half-truths of God may well follow down that road.

But Christ has cut off that hell-bound road of self-glorifying blasphemy, for all who trust in His Name.

The very best that mankind can be is in the person of Christ Jesus.

Christ is by far the bravest, courageous, and self-sacrificial Man that ever was. He gave Himself for the protection and safety of all who are called by His Name, and not just this, but even saved the Creation and the Future as well, rendering the New Creation sinless by calling the Lake of Fire into being for His enemies to be cast into – a place that we didn’t know of, and may well not even existed, before Christ said the word just as He called the universe into being, so many years ago.

Christ is the First-born, and the best of the attributes of Man – including courage, bravery, and self-sacrifice – have their roots and wellspring in Him.

And Christ is God in the Flesh.

So, there are no ‘incommunicable attributes of Man’ – none worth mentioning, anyways. EVERYTHING that is good, true, righteous, and noble, has their root in the Blessed Trinity.

So, why is God Merciful?

To further exalt the Name of Christ Jesus, Maker and rightful Master of all Creation, God in the Flesh.

And also, to bless, sanctify, and strengthen those who take shelter in the Name of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ made the stars and the worlds as signs for the sake of man, yet died naked on a cross to save His Beloved, the Church, from Hell – a punishment He took on His own Person, instead.

His sacrifice pleased God Most High, so death could no longer hold Him, and after His Resurrection from grave, Christ Jesus now sits at the right hand of God.

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. — Ephesians 2:4-10

The Church holds the keys to the kingdom, and only prayers in Christ’s name reach the presence of the Father. God’s people sits in the heavenly places, even to rule under His authority – an authority that is already establish in Christ, and increasingly manifested in the lives of His followers, and in the outer world as well.

“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” — Matthew 16:18

Where these gates of hell are located – in Rome or Mecca or Jerusalem or Delhi, Washington or Brussels or London or Moscow, or Tokyo or Beijing or Pyongyang or Hanoi – none of that matters. The gates of hell will fail, and in time, all of these cities will willingly bend the knee to Christ… as their peoples will demand it.

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. — Acts 4:10-12

This isn’t a contest of power, as it is obvious that God is all-powerful, and Satan is not.

This is a contest of ethics (as North would put it), of moral supremacy.

Christ has already come up on top of that contest in history, and the consequences of His Triumph will only multiply in power and force as time, knowledge, and technology increases.

Christ is King, in Righteousness, Mercy, and Justice, as well as in Might, Power, and Knowledge.
And not sinful and rebellious man, who without Christ
rots even as he struggles to stand.

Praises in the Post-Scarcity Era

Well, not Really Post-Scarcity…

Reflecting on Vivek Wadhwa’s article on the jobless era, I have to comment that it isn’t truly a jobless future, as much as a post-scarcity era.

It isn’t truly post-scarcity, though.

  • It’s very likely that our lifespans will be greatly extended… but death still awaits.
  • It’s very likely that the amount of stuff we can have will be greatly extended… but there will still be things we can’t have.
  • Human creativity can be far more easily expressed: but there will still be things we can’t do.
  • Human understanding will extend far deeper than before: but what we don’t know will still be far more than what we do know.

…Lots of Information, Though

Politically-driven power-seekers will have their power over others – that is, their ability to kill and steal and lie – increasingly reduced. Much like Satan, they will have to rely less on raw force, and more on smooth lies (preferably tuned to the secret desires of the target) but as information continues to flow more and more freely, even this power will tend to rot and fail over time.

As this is God’s Creation, it is natural that the scope and power of evil continue to be naturally ground down and wither, and the realm of the free and the godly expand and grow. There will be the occasional reversal, but such things are by their nature temporary. “For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Homeschooling Project: gather up any and all examples of Christian violence, with a special focus on the Crusades, their successes, and their failures. Then, study the impact of Gutenberg and the Internet, and their effect on both the expansion of God’s Law-Word, and their revelation of the evils and lies of men. Which act, violence or the spread of information, has been more beneficial to the Christian faith?

Bonus points for an intelligent discussion of:

  • The NSA (the lawless desire for omniscience);
  • The Chinese Firewall (the lawless desire to hide from the truth);
  • and Romans 8 – power not by the ways of the flesh (aka physical means, involving violence et al), but by the Spirit of Truth.

What is True Post-Scarcity?

There is only one human reading this will ever have has access to truly infinite levels of power & knowledge, complete control of all the resources of the universe (and the ability to create more with a word) and have the capacity of being everywhere at the same time. *Waves to Jesus Christ*

THAT is true post-scarcity. We will never be God, though, so we will never truly live in a true post-scarcity universe.

Limited Post-Scarcity

Still, even with limited post-scarcity:

  • all the food & water & power you could ever use;
  • agelessness & perfect health;
  • all the building materials you could want;
  • sufficient land to build (at near-zero cost) the well-furnished home of your dreams;
  • the robot servants needed to avoid any physical labour (upgraded to nanobots by 2100!) and insure personal security;

…and with the power of politicians substantially reduced, it will be quite tempting to just live in a (virtual or drugged or isolated) fantasy land for the rest of your life. Seventy-two synthetic sexual partners… the exact chemical composition of happiness (“Your brain can’t tell the difference!”)… whatever you want.

This is not what Christians are called to do, though.

Praises in the Post-Scarcity Society

Praising God…

In the Westminster Confession of faith, we read:

Q. 1. What is the chief end of man?

A. Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him for ever

The boring nature of modern art and culture should be left to the Tolerant Ones, ever-eager to find new limits to transgress. And, naturally, better express their comprehensive and total hostility to Christian mores, Christian society, and – when the required technology is perfected – Christian thought.

In contrast, God’s people should push to find ways to better praise God, and express His glory and excellence. This takes work, work that Christians have been slacking off on for at least two, possibly three centuries. This work starts with personal obedience, and then teaching your children to follow Christ in all things. (Homeschooling yes, private schooling if necessary – but certainly not public indoctrination, a.k.a. Tithing your children to Molech.)

The goal is to teach nations to obey Christ, as spelled out in the Great Commission:

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” — Matthew 28:18-20.

No matter what technological marvels lies in the future, it will be meaningless without the life, liberty, property we need to make the best use of it before the piercing eyes of our Lord and Judge. Rest assured: technology without godliness merely means stronger chains of slavery: mental conditioning instead of metal chains, neurolashes instead of bullwhips, personality rebuilds instead of torture and re-education camps.

(All professionally justified by properly framed elections and legal rulings, as always. “Never let a crisis go to waste!”)

But, if we humble ourselves before God, turn away from our own evils, and work earnestly for God’s glory, we will ditch today’s Establishment synthesis of Egypt and Sodom for something better. A productive present and a fruitful future, instead of debt today and impoverished slavery tomorrow.

…Helping People…

Once the foundations have been laid down, God’s grace can then be expanded. Dr. Karl Menninger once said that “Generous people are rarely mentally ill.” As a guiding light, this one isn’t too bad at all, being a fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. — Galatians 5:19-23.

Hmmm… it seems to be absent…

Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; that they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. — I Timothy 6:17-19

Ah… It’s there (and more easily found in the Old Testament), and part of the Christian life, but not listed in Galatians. I am not a good enough theologian to know why it wasn’t listed in Galatians – and as Christ says, every jot and tittle of the Bible carries significance.

Caring for people, protecting them, and building them up is an excellent way to spend near-infinite amounts of wealth and time.

…and Tending Creation

Tending to the Creation – turning the desert green, bringing back poisoned lands, etc – is honourable work, under the Dominion Mandate. The First Adam was a gardener, and the Second a carpenter: both skill sets are of value.

I would put both terraforming other worlds and exploring the universe under this category – trusting that this would be a lawful expansion of the Mandate. God values life over death, and I still can’t believe that we are supposed to just leave a dead and cold universe as a still corpse forever.

“Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.” – Romans 8:21-22

Some believers (like me) believes that there is nothing out there, excepting the Trinity and the angels.

Others – many Darwinians – insist that there is something alive out there…but certainly NOT the Trinity, as the existence of such a being would lawfully limit the arbitrary power and might of the Only True Lord, the State.

In any case, money should not be stolen to find aliens: but in the course of time, we will have enough wealth for private ventures to take a proper look-see. If this was an evolutionary universe, I could guarantee the answer: nobody is out there. (Otherwise, you have to claim that in 20 billion years, NOT ONE alien race ever managed to expand across the stars.) In a creationist universe, I can’t actually guarantee the answer: there may be something – probably non-sentient, probably behind us in technology – physically alive out there.

But I doubt it.

Black America, Post-Welfare State II

Simple & Short Counsel

As you well know, I have no great power or great authority, so it’s just one man with a blog, saying his piece. Still, it might be useful to a few people out there, so here what I hope Black America does:

Stick to your families, and rebuild them. This simply must be done, to get a future worth talking about. As the Good Book says, “But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” – I Timothy 5:8. A steady marriage, regular work, and graduation from high school: this is how Black Americans are going to get up from their current bitter state.Of course, the coming Great Default will just make everything worse, more difficult, more trying. The job market now, bad as it is, will be a mild downturn compared to the economic disaster that’s coming. (North discusses how bad it will be for well-established, comfortable, middle-class folk here (paywall).) Survivors of those days are going to be harder than I can imagine.

It’s been said that Black Americans are a race of survivors. That claim will again be put to the test. Get ready.

Literacy & Numeracy is simply non-negotiable. I am confident that there were more literate Blacks when it was just Mom teaching them to read the Bible in the early 1900s, than there are today. (You know, when Blacks married at a higher rate, and stayed married longer, than White people did.) In addition to the truths, ethics, and historical perspectives to be gained in that book, the King James Version has a majestic tone, rhythm, and authority that was once part of being Black – a tone that should be regained.Unthinking, repetitive labour has been dying in the West for decades now: the coming wave of robotics is going to finish it off. You simply must be literate, understand numbers, and have a serious work ethic to even have a chance for a middle-class lifestyle now.

(A decent grip on basic physics, algebra, and G-Code – the language of CNC machines – won’t hurt, if you want a modern-day factory job.)

Of course, me saying that it must be done does not mean that it will be done. But there really is no alternative: black men who can’t read, do arithmetic, or maintain solid work habits simply stand no chance in our fraying economy. The Black grandmothers who have the respect of the community will have to make the decision on what to do for them, on the ground – nobody else even cares.

The Khan Academy – or something like it – is closely tied to any real breakout from poverty and failure, so far as any worthwhile Black future is concerned.

It has been decades since the various Civil Rights acts have been passed, and the schools that direct the black future only get worse. Ghetto schools will never get better, for the same reason why schools in the American Indian reservations will never get better. To break the slave chains, Blacks need to get out of the school systems so kindly provided for them by Our Compassionate Friends. “You must tend to your own interests, first and last. For no one else will.”

That means home schooling. If kids in Calcutta can get out from poverty, kids in Detroit can, too. But not if they go to the schools that have been carefully selected for them, and them alone…

Post-Welfare State, Near Future

Within the lifetimes of most of us reading this – I peg it at the 2020+ era – the Welfare State will die, all across the West. Predictably, welfare benefits to poor Blacks will be cut first and foremost; then the Military will be slashed; then the middle-class benefits; and finally the corporate and banking subsidies. But at the end of the day, it’s all going to go.

(I am assuming that we don’t get something like Near-Free Energy before 2020: such a thing could delay the end of the Welfare System by a full generation. Black culture in the cities have suffered immensely, 1965-2014; I don’t care to guess just how toxic inner city culture will be, if the fantasies and lies are allowed to run another 40 years.)

I have a set of assumptions for the near future:

  • Open forms of (re)segregation – when it comes to neighbourhoods, or work – will again shape the cultural landscape. “When times are hard, everyone looks out for their own.” The formal legality of this will be either irrelevant, or it will be made legal by local authorities – cheerfully ignoring a bankrupt central government that can neither bribe or force compliance.
  • When Black families are no longer controlled and corrupted by government bribes, the guns will come out. However, the glory days of white supremacy are over: there are simply too few young white men to properly re-enslave or exterminate Black Americans at a low cost. As always, physical ability is more important than current attitudes… but it’s worth noting that even the desire to do so has been greatly enervated. There is no glory in it, no respect to be gained: only contempt and mockery if successful, and sneering laughter if they fail. After all, about half-a-million Iraqis died, at a cost of a few thousand American lives: has this “just because I felt like it” slaughter allowed the U.S. to stand taller in the world? Is the U.S. more respected and feared, now that we know it is spying on everyone, everywhere, all the time?
  • Some Whites will desire to just live in peace, in a mixed-race community. Other Whites want to re-establish White-only communities. I advise that both groups be left alone, to live as they wish. If there is no glory in “We have the money!” Whites bullying Blacks, then there is no glory in “We have the numbers!” Blacks bullying Whites. The whole world has cellphones now, and the cheap flying drones with zoom cameras are not far in the future… and don’t forget the face recognition programs!
  • Black wealth and community must be built with justice, fair dealing, and the Black worker getting the fruits of his hard work and solid service to others. “Do what you said you will do (or a bit more), on time (or a bit earlier), and on budget (or a bit cheaper).” Doing this consistently is the way to build Black wealth and self-respect. Right now, even if the minimum wage laws were all lifted and the welfare state vanished, I don’t think that most welfare-dependent Blacks will get up and work. Future Black society, however, will not be blinded by welfare money, as there simply won’t be any. There is only the world of the Real, and the hard world of Consequences for all of our foolishness, Black & White alike. Therefore, the main goal of Black Americans should be to get on their own two feet, and not worry about the hostility of others.
  • To rebuilt a peaceful society, there must be equality before the law. We should care for our own, and the Bible certainly permits people the freedom to hire whom they please, and sell to whom they please, without justifying themselves to people who those who don’t own the land or the business in uestion. But the civil government – men who carry guns on behalf of their community, however defined – are ministers of God, and as such are restricted to enforce public justice according to His definitions. “One God, One Law.” And a critical aspect of His justice is His Law: as Divine Justice is no respecter of persons – rich or poor, black or white, male or female, believer or unbeliever – so His Agents must be. This is why Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.  (with his many failings) is honoured, while various racist white Calvinists are forgotten and disrespected, despite their otherwise great reverence for Scripture and Divine Authority.
  • Tribe is necessary, but it is not enough. Of course, family leaders may carry guns to defend their family, and individuals may carry guns to defend their person. But that’s just defense: individuals, families, and churches have no right to use arms to suppress public wickedness. Only the lawful civil authority may do so.
  • White People will be a minority in the United States – and, as a minority with diminishing power over others, will decide that they have no responsibility to anyone but themselves. Demands of the majority placed on the wealth of a minority will be resented, and evaded, one way or another. They will be outvoted: and they will then decide that they are merely being bullied and robbed by the powerful, who despises them. The days of white guilt are over… and they will never return. Adjust your plans accordingly.

And, the hardest truth:

  • “Good Fences make Good Neighbours.” The time for wishful thinking is over, so – in addition to my support for County Rights – I point to a recent article from Lew Rockwell:

Switzerland is recognized as a country of peace, stability and prosperity. This is surprising because of its linguistic and religious diversity that in other parts of the world lead to conflict and violence. Here we analyze how peaceful stability is maintained. Our analysis shows that peace does not depend on integrated coexistence, but rather on well defined topographical and political boundaries separating groups, allowing for partial autonomy within a single country. In Switzerland, mountains and lakes are an important part of the boundaries between sharply defined linguistic areas. Political canton and circle (sub-canton) boundaries often separate religious groups. Where such boundaries do not appear to be sufficient, we find that specific aspects of the population distribution guarantee either sufficient separation or sufficient mixing to inhibit intergroup violence according to the quantitative theory of conflict. In exactly one region, a porous mountain range does not adequately separate linguistic groups and that region has experienced significant violent conflict, leading to the recent creation of the canton of Jura. Our analysis supports the hypothesis that violence between groups can be inhibited by physical and political boundaries.– Good Fences: The Importance of Setting Boundaries for Peaceful Coexistence.

Even in ancient Israel – where all worshiped the same Lord, and acknowledged the same Laws – there were still a division of the land on a tribal basis. Instead of some costly and bloody division on a national scale – like the Partition of India, or the Balkan Wars – I prefer to let White-dominated counties do as they wish, and Black-dominated counties do as they wish.

All hooked up to the Internet, and the gaze of the cellphone cameras and flying drones.

(Tidbit: did you know that, by about 2040, absolutely everyone will be able to cheaply buy the kind of Total Information Awareness only the NSA enjoys today? Now, this is about five years after the earliest projections of greater-than-human computer intelligence kicks in…)


The prophets typically proclaimed the curses God will bring down, before proclaiming the restoration God has planned.

I have never thought of myself as much of a prophet, merely a man who knows that God Rules, and God Judges. I can’t tell you when something will happen, only that, in a universe ruled by a Just Lord, that at some point in the future, the Consequences of the Sin will show up. (North would call this Casuistry: a.k.a.the violation of this commandment will lead to that sort of punishment.”)

Unfortunately, the rather pathetic range of pastors we have today are much more interested in keeping their pulpits rather than preaching the truth – and being kicked out before seven days have passed. “People get the leadership they deserve.”

So, I’m left to spell it out, instead of the million or so men who are better qualified, better educated, better equipped, and better able to spell out the truth to a bigger audience.

Well, at least it’s done.

So, a few notes of hope:

Study Says, “Men aren’t dogs after all.” And when I say “men” I mean “poor inner city black teenagers”.  And if young black men choose to be wicked and cruel to black girls as they grow older, then they can choose to do something else, to be someone else.

This is called repentance, something I greatly recommend. This is where the salvation of the race lies: not in some elected official, not in some handout (no matter how large) but in obedience to God – who demands respect for the women He has made.

We’re heading into a jobless future, no matter what the government does. Black men are just the first wave of the coming jobless billions. When robots and high-level computers run 95% of everything, and the busted welfare state has been replaced by “food & stuff for free” printers of various types… then what?

I don’t think that the whole world will be a violent ghetto, simply because most of that violence is drug driven, and in a decade or three anyone can print off any drug he wants for free or a near-zero price.

I think that things could turn out well, after some sort of informal re-segregation into small, mono-everything neighbourhoods and towns kicks in. No guarantees, though: all the stuff you ever wanted is no substitute for righteous living or a calm and peaceful spirit.

Vengeance and Power

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. — Romans 12:19


When we see the rampant injustice around us, it’s easy to indulge in fantasies of retributive (or more-than-retributive) violence.

But outside of self- and family-defence, there is no room for violence in the Christian life.

Which makes the current love-affair some Christians have with Imperial Rome repulsive.

(And I’m speaking as a sci-fi writer, who works in a universe dominated by a similar space empire. Space Empires have long been popular in the fantasies of men: but some fantasies are best left in the world of fiction and computer games.)

All Under Law

Why we must not take vengeance?

If a single innocent life is taken, God will hold us to account. Just as He will hold us to account for every idle word we say, or every unclean thought.

Faced with such a standard, modern warfare is innately and irredeemably unjust – and will only become more so as robots are increasingly used to do the killing.

Yapping about Orders, Lawful Authority, and all the rest of it will not excuse us at all. Every word, every act, every thought is under observation and judgement of God Most High.

Since this is true, we must take responsibility for what we do, and what we renounce.

And since no innocent lives may be taken for whatever reason, war and vengeance must be abandoned: the piercing gaze and uncompromising commands of God demand it.

The Alternative: Slavery Under the State

We will now listen to the cries of hatred Freethinkers have for such an Almighty, Inescapable Judge . Using arguments of pragmatism and reason, they will follow Machiavelli, and speak nobly about Reasons of State, and why we should be realistic in politics – a realm above and beyond the authority of God and His Laws.

As usual, as soon as there is a general acceptance of these arguments, there will be immediate substitution of the State as the Lord and Master of our lives. And don’t fool yourself: as soon as the machines can reliably read thoughts – somewhere around 2040? – our thinking will be under government surveillance 24/7 as well, with Incorrect Thought being punished with increasingly severity.

(For some odd reason, the Servants of the People will never, ever be charged or punished for any thoughtcrime. Obviously, this proves the pure and noble nature of They Who Rule, and justifies their Loving Authority to dominate the rest of us…)

Godly Men

Wars exist because men demand it. And as the US is always entangled with some costly and worthless war somewhere, this means that a major percentage of American Christian men support these endless wars.

This must stop, as such Roman-style slaughter is against the will of God.

With obedience to God, there will be a steady return of peace and prosperity, and liberty as well. But so long as we insist on blaspheming God, claiming that our killing is done for some Glorious Vision, we will continue on the road of slavery and poverty. No different than in the Soviet Union of old.

Repentance brings life, liberty and prosperity; disobedience brings death, slavery and poverty.

Less War, More Peace

Unfortunately, there is a great drumbeat for war with Russia.

This needs to be rejected. Not only because there are serious questions regarding the possibility of a false-flag operation, – something that many governments engage in, including Washington – and the problem of withheld information. But because we need to get away from the costly and increasingly worthless ‘endless wars for endless peace’ neocon skit.

Too much things at home need tending to. There is no time for violent and murderous distractions.

Karen’s post made a brief mention of the blog Ten Thousand Commandments. It’s worth reviewing, and reflecting on the Progressive Political Promises of liberation from an oppressive God in the Sky – to be replaced by Our Loving Masters on Earth.

— Day after day, the gory confessions spill out from China’s newspapers — rape, murder, beheadings, even a plot to infect villagers’ chopsticks and kitchen knives with typhoid bacteria. The crimes were committed by Japanese soldiers seven decades ago, but the stories are being dusted off for a new era of confrontation.

The confessions — appearing one a day, for 45 days — are part of a relentless drumbeat of anti-Japanese propaganda here. The campaign is partly timed to coincide with the 77th anniversary this month of the start of China’s war with Japan, but it is also part of a longer war of words with Beijing’s main Asian rival. The campaign is supposed to force Japan to come to terms with its wartime past, but it is also meant to inspire domestic nationalism and bolster the Communist Party’s credentials as defender of the Chinese people.

Of course, this is rank hypocrisy, with the Communist government killing more Chinese than Japan did.

But that doesn’t matter to the government… and, even if you told them, probably not to the Chinese people either. An alarming percentage of whom are poor and working-class young men without any possibility of marriage, and little to lose…

Better to keep the people – especially the young, trouble-making men – united against the common foe. Keep the hate away from the State, and focused on over crimes done 70 years ago. Strange, seeing the increasingly wealthy China build as much hatred over the dead past as the Muslims do. Two dead ruling, power-centred ideologies/religions, dwelling on the past.

And so it goes, in cultures without the forgiveness of Christ.

It’s not America’s fight, and I hope America doesn’t get into it. Most likely, there won’t be a war so long as the US-Japan security guarantee endures.

But as soon as that guarantee is gone, Japan will get her nukes.

Nationalism kills. Astonishingly, the East saw this play out in the West, in the World Wars – and has learnt nothing.

Lessons for Christians:

  • Don’t blame others for your problems, or your powerlessness. As a rule of thumb, obedience to Christ bring increasing wealth, honour, and power. Again: God rules this universe, not the Enemy. If there is no success, if this isn’t happening, then there is some kind of corruption in the camp. Root it out.
  • Forgive your enemies, as Christ instructs. This frees you from the chains of the past, and allows you to redirect your energy, to build up your house today to master the future. This does not mean trust your enemies – that’s just foolishness, especially as you are only to trust in the Lord your God.
  • Don’t worship power. All power and authority is in God’s hands. Power-worship leads to blindness, delusions, and an increasing inability to adjust to the future – as both Islam and Communism demonstrates. Don’t worry too much about the sins of others – dig out the sins of your own heart first and foremost. Afterwards, you are better able to carefully and with just the right amount of force – not too much and not too little – help in removing the sins of other, repentant people.

The future beckons – but we can’t seize it, if we insist on holding on to the hatreds of the past.



I love both the Chinese & Japanese peoples: but my writing above placed all the blame on the Chinese. This is wrong.

  • Had the Japanese not invaded China & Korea, and committed their various and ugly war crimes, this level of hatred would be impossible. Instead, they would have been admired and highly respected across Asia, and eventually (as white supremacy faded) around the world.

    Instead, they decided to emulate the powerful white man. The Americans firmly put them back in their place, and there is only enmity from China & Korea, when they see the land of the rising sun.

    Lesson learned: NEVER abandon righteousness, in the name of power, or to gain the favour of the powerful.

  • Many of the Japanese were – and, sadly, are – too full of pride. The more conservative & reactionary among them know full well how marvelous their nation is, and intensely love their nation: but – just like American conservatives and their nauseating love of pagan Rome – they still insist that their nation did no wrong in war.

    They need to repent: but, Shinto has no moral structure, something God is judging that beautiful nation for right now. For what is the use of beauty, if it hides the slaughter of the innocent? It merely adds to the revulsion of God Most High, nothing more.

    Shinto – especially State Shinto of the Imperial Era – was and is simply a man-built religion, to gain man-centred goals. For State Shinto especially, the focus was on the power & supremacy of the Japanese. As such, it was all about the uniqueness of the Japanese, their racial glory, and their destiny to rule the world (or at least Asia).

    (In comparison to folk Shinto, which is more about good harvests, fertility, the sacredness of nature, and passing exams. Still a false faith, but not nearly as far off the mark.)

    The Japanese need to ditch the pride, kneel to Christ, and repent. THAT will open the door to life and hope. If they really think that their covenant with death will provide a gentle, comfortable, relaxed fading away – the Age of Evening Calm, as depicted in the graceful and beautiful (and perverse and sterile) Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou – they have another thing coming.

    (…and so does Western Europe. But they already know this, since 2007 at least. Japan still has several delusions that still remains to be popped…)

The Elder Race


From Wikipedia:

An elder race in science fiction, fantasy, or horrorfiction is a fictional alien race that preceded humanity. Occasionally they are a more advanced version of humanity instead of aliens (e.g., the Stargate Ancients). Elder races generally have abilities and technologies (or magics, in some cases) that generally far surpass that of humanity. In works of science fiction, their technologies are often so advanced as to seem magical or even godlike both to the human protagonists and to the present-day reader.


Depending on the nature of the New Heavens and the New Earth, some variation of the “Elder Race” status the end-state of the Redeemed: all those adopted Sons of God (…and one Begotten…) have to do something productive with eternity, something pleasing to God Most High.

One of the things that puzzles me is the fact that we will be co-rulers with Christ over the universe. But, we will not be reproducing in the New Creation, as there is no marriage, nor family. We could be ruling each other, and this is even likely: but with all of us filled with the Holy Spirit and truly morally perfect – and with immediate access to God Himself, without a flawed and corrupt heart getting in the way – the need of a hierarchy beyond the Trinity is uncertain. Some will be of higher ranks than other, but all can be trusted implicitly – so, besides some initial order, there just isn’t that much need for supervision.

(And, as the 24 greatest believers in history will cast their crowns before Jesus –

The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. — Revelation 4:11-12

there is a distinct possibility that all internal ranks among the Redeemed matter very little, compared with the high rank Christ has above all men, even the most godly and blessed.)

So, if the main import of being judges and sons of God is not to rule each other – or, perhaps, the internal hierarchy will be important, but not often exercised – then who will we rule?


Some of us really will sing in the heavenly choirs of the old-timey heaven, as they are greatly gifted here. Others have different gifts, and will be set to different tasks. Praise does not only involve singing, although it certainly includes it: as we are commanded to praise without ceasing, it becomes obvious that our very labours, our plans, our drive time, is to be geared to be Holy to the Lord. Following Zechariah, even the ordinary cooking pot will be treated as holy:

In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, Holiness Unto The Lord; and the pots in the Lord‘s house shall be like the bowls before the altar. – Zechariah 14:20

Nothing is neutral: everything can be used in a godly way, or in an evil manner.

Preparation: Power

Christ the Firstborn is already preparing the New Creation:

In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. — John 14:2-4

And, as adopted Sons of God…

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. — Revelation 21:7

When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? — Job 38:7

[And free of our sinful state:

I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. —  Psalm 82:6-7

That proves that mere (disinherited) sonship, mere subcreative power, without Divine righteousness or holiness, is just another road to hell.]

…we will be judging angels at the end of time, and beyond:

Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. — I Corinthians 6:2-4

Preparation: Righteousness

The world endlessly drones, “Judge not”. I suggest that this is the only (selectively edited) verse known by heart by all of Christ’s enemies. It is much wiser for God’s people to learn to judge wisely, according to God’s standards. THIS is what Christ commands:

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. — Matthew 7:1-6

…and again…

42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?

43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.

45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;

46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.

47 And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. — Luke 12:42-48

Angels as Ministers

Now, from God’s Covenant, I recall…

Revelation 3 is the passage wherein John was told by God to write letters to angels at each of seven churches. These were not supernatural angels, for whom there was no postal zip code. They were messengers—the same Greek word used for angel—meaning pastors. (Page 17)

Paul wrote of civil magistrates that they are ministers of God (Romans 12:4). A minister ministers, that is, he mediates between God and man. (Page 21)

So, here we see angels and ministers are closely linked as concepts.

Now, we turn to Matthew 22:29-32

29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. — Matthew 22:29-30

I wonder how many have chosen to dismiss a sexless heaven as not heaven at all. Quietly, without causing a fuss… quite a number, I suspect. For them, the doors of Islam and their man-centred bordello is right over there *points to a certain desert mirage in a very hot place*.

Rationalists get a better deal, and need only wait until the neuro-hookups and sexbots are up and running, which should be no later than 2100 – and probably a LOT sooner.

In contrast, God’s men are expected to rule in His Name, and to serve Him forever, not their own lusts. As Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit are always at work, so His servants shall be as well: “The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.” — Matthew 10:24

The Trinity leads, and we imitate: and, in the New Creation, we will perfectly model God, in a way suitable to our created nature, pleasing in God’s eyes, without flaw or error. Joy is a communicable aspect of Divinity, and we will have it in abundance: but

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. – I Corinthians 6:9-10

Ruling Whom?

So Christ and His People, male and female, young and old, shall rule: but if the main focus isn’t on them ruling each other – Christ holding that position primarily – who will they rule?

As we can already create life, and will soon enough create sentient life, I suggest that we will primarily be ruling other nonhuman sophonts. Mainly, because I still deeply doubt that all of those worlds and galaxies are meant to be forever lifeless chunks of rocks and gas, endlessly spinning in the darkness, without a single being on it to praise God and give thanks for life and creation. And if we cannot populate them, perhaps God will permit other beings to do so.

There will be a hierarchy among the Redeemed, but it is more like older brothers and sisters, helping out the youngsters grow in their power and authority – instead of some kind of collectivist or parasitic GodState, which is the society Materialists love to build.


I can prove from the Bible that there is a hierarchy of the Father, then the Son, then the Redeemed (with the Holy Spirit connecting all three). It is likely and reasonable that elder siblings will help guide younger siblings to better express their full potential.

I can prove from the Bible that men, under God, will rule the New Earth.

I cannot prove from the Bible that men will expand across the stars, and spread life across the sky.

But… based on the nature of God, and the nature of the universe, I have my suspicions.
