Darwin treeRefuse to Be ComfortedDNA

By Bojidar Marinov‎

“Come on.

Now.

I hear you’re feeling down.

I can ease your pain…”

(Pink Floyd, “Comfortably Numb”)

I refuse to be comforted. I refuse to listen to sermons that assure me that “whatever happens, God is in control.” I refuse to read and listen to pastors, authors, and leaders that comfort me with God’s peace when everywhere around me I see God’s war.

expressionismWhen they banned prayer in schools, the Christians in this country were assured that in these “last days” that’s what was expected to happen. They were supposed to take comfort in the fact that Jesus was coming soon. He didn’t. And while Christians were learning to be comforted with this open attack against their faith, Roe v. Wade came. Again, words of comfort followed. Meanwhile, tens of millions of unborn children died in this government-sanctioned sacrifice of infants. Only a…

Sticking It to Catholics and the Church!

So Obama despised the Catholics too… probably too Christian for his tastes.

distant sunObama Spent Last 8 Years Sticking It to Catholics and Catholic Church

By Bill Donohue

December 2016

On the December 15 edition of the “Axe Files” podcast, White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough told David Axelrod the following about President Barack Obama. “I think this is the—our most Catholic of presidents. And I mean that by capital C Catholic, in what I see and what he does every day. It’s not to say that he’s—does everything entirely consistent with Catholic teaching. That’s not the idea.”AAD

We’ll, yes that is the idea. When someone says that Obama is “our most Catholic of presidents,” surely the record should speak for itself.

Here are some of Obama’s views and policies that McDonough needs to explain:

–In 2003, when Obama was an Illinois state senator, he led the fight to oppose a bill that would have mandated health care for a baby who…

expressionismAmerica’s Most Biblically-Hostile U. S.nazi boot on church President (Theologian in Chief)

By David Barton

When one observes President Obama’s unwillingness to accommodate America’s four-century long religious conscience protection through his attempts to require Catholics to go against their own doctrines and beliefs, one is tempted to say that he is anti-Catholic. But that characterization would not be correct. Although he has recently singled out EmilyCarr-Indian-Church-1929Catholics, he has equally targeted traditional Protestant beliefs over the past four years. So since he has attacked Catholics and Protestants, one is tempted to say that he is anti-Christian. But that, too, would be inaccurate. He has been equally disrespectful in his appalling treatment of religious Jews in general and Israel in particular. So perhaps the most accurate description of his antipathy toward Catholics, Protestants, religious Jews, and the Jewish nation would be to characterize him as anti-Biblical. And then when his hostility toward Biblical people of…

Confirmation Bias, Groupthink, and the Tribal-Moral Community

The vast majority of academics are leftists… so, it becomes absolutely critical that the right be blamed for any problems in science.

science experimentThe Real War on Sciencebiology

The Left has done far more than the Right to set back progress.

By John Tierney

My liberal friends sometimes ask me why I don’t devote more of my science journalism to the sins of the Right. It’s fine to expose pseudoscience on the left, they say, but why aren’t you an equal-opportunity debunker? Why not write about conservatives’ threat to science?how to think

My friends don’t like my answer: because there isn’t much to write about. Conservatives just don’t have that much impact on science. I know that sounds strange to Democrats who decry Republican creationists and call themselves the “party of science.” But I’ve done my homework. I’ve read the Left’s indictments, including Chris Mooney’s bestseller, The Republican War on Science. I finished it with the same question about this war that I had at the outset: Where are the casualties?

OSolzhenitsyn Explains Dostoyevsky’s “Beauty Will Save the World”

By Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

The following is excerpted from Solzhenitsyn’s Nobel lecture, given in 1972.

Just as the savage in bewilderment picks up . . . a strange object cast up by the sea?. . . something long buried in the sand? . . . a baffling object fallen from the sky?—intricately shaped, now glistening dully, nowtulips reflecting a brilliant flash of light—just as he turns it this way and that, twirls it, searches for a way to utilize it, seeks to find for it a suitable lowly application, all the while not guessing its higher function . . .

So we also, holding Art in our hands, confidently deem ourselves its masters; we boldly give it direction, bring it up to date, reform it, proclaim it, sell it for money, use it to please the powerful, divert it for amusement—all the way down to…

Ringwoodite

From Wikipedia (as of Jan 23, 2017):

Ringwoodite is a high-pressure phase of Mg2SiO4 formed at high temperatures and pressures of the Earth’s mantle between 525 and 660 km (326 and 410 mi) depth. It is polymorphous with the olivine phase forsterite (a magnesiumironsilicate).

Ringwoodite is notable for being able to contain hydroxide ions (oxygen and hydrogen atoms bound together) within its structure.[4]

Combined with evidence of its occurrence deep in the Earth’s mantle, this suggests that there is from one to three times the world ocean‘s equivalent of water inthe mantle transition zone from 410 to 660 km deep.

Ringwoodite is right up there with dried blood and soft flesh on dinosaur bones, when it comes to verifying the Noahic account of the Flood.

(Actually, these proof just scratch the tip of the iceberg, as Michael Behe (of irreducible complexity fame) would point out.)

Now, materialist atheistic philosophers have no interest in pointing out the faults of materialistic atheism, and how it simply doesn’t match up with reality.

Christian do, and Christians should do the spadework to get the word out.

Dominate the Media, or Fail in Expanding the Kingdom.

The power of the mainstream media is being cut out.

Christians should seize the opportunity to rise to a position of authority. Authority comes from accepting responsibility to speak the truth, clear and powerful.

And a rock full of water is a great way to start!
