Remember Christ, and Inherit the World

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.  — Matthew 25:31-46 (bold mine)

Western Christians are going through a frankly mild persecution.

Kicked out of jobs, banned from the law guilds (and thus, from the courts, much of politics, and the commanding bureaucracy in the West), despised by the media, yes, but not actually kidnapped or forcibly converted or raped or massacred or cut up and sold for parts.

Any time Western believers decide that…

  • They should raise their children themselves, rather than having an intensely anti-Christian state raise them up; and
  • Christ is more important than welfare & corporate benefits

…they can get their freedom back. Grow that spine, and the Laughing Masters will become simpering beggars.

(Bonus points if American Christians decide against joining major wars: these things are one of the major secularizing, statist forces in history. Or maybe they might just grow some backbone and choose not to join a sodomite military, in the service of a sodomite conservative movement and a sodomite government.)

No, I’m not holding my breath on this: after all, there is no way we could be in such a profoundly anti-Christian culture today, if Christian laymen and pastors hadn’t given the thumbs-up for smiling atheists and their promises of Free Stuff (…and their sotto voce promises of easy and consequence-free sex, abortions, and divorces…) for the last few generations.

But anyways: we are enslaved with the chains we have forged… and carefully maintain, strengthen, and oil up. In the name of conservativism, conformity, patriotism, reasonableness… and the overwhelming need to Go Along to Get Along.

Things are different for Christians outside of the West.

That’s why I’m going to make a special mention of two charities that I feel are worthy of your time and money.

  • The Voice of the Martyrs – http://www.persecution.com/ – grants us the ability to discover what’s going on with our brothers in grim yet purifying circumstances, and – most importantly – do something about it. It is also an outreach organization into nations that are difficult to reach, but must be bought into the fold, as Christ demands… or else.

— Matthew 25:31-33 (my bold)

The Kingdom of God isn’t just about individual salvation and individual damnation: it is also about national salvation and national damnation.

  • China Aidhttp://www.chinaaid.org/ – gives us the opportunity to offer a hand to our brothers in China. Every expansion of the Kingdom is met with Satanic opposition, and so it is in China. Stand with God’s people now, and reap the rewards later.

Which reminds me: when will American Christians know that the Kingdom of God has once again decided to push forward in earnest?

When God’s people stop retreating and shivering in fear, but begin pushing forward, fearlessly and aggressively.

But this will not happen, until the day of repentance for our corruption begins. (As opposed to self-justifying excuses for our abject failures over the last century.) With repentance comes restoration; with the Law of God comes strength and authority; with confidence in Divine Victory comes the success of the gospel in time and on earth, in our hearts, in our counties and towns and cities and nations; in the home and in the church, the business and the courthouse.

No repentance before Christ Jesus?

No obedience to the Law of God, as given by the prophet Moses and manifested by Jesus, our Lord and God?

No restoration, and no authority.

I can guarantee this.

— Matthew 25: 34-40 (my bold)

Be a righteous man of God, and inherit the world.
