The job of a Christian believer is not to impress the world at this moment, but to please God for all eternity.

Go for the gold, even if others cannot or will not see.

From Gary North

If you adopt these rules, your success will be visible to all… but only because the foundations were well-laid, long ago.

Why not be the carrot with both the massive roots, and the massive leaves? Certainly, many Biblical leaders, from Abraham to David and onwards unto today, gained the best of both worlds!

But if you must make an either-or choice, God gets the priority!

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you. — Matthew 6:33
