Project Veritas, Google, and the Unified Media Order

North gave an article on Project Veritas’ video, on Google’s decision to alter the algorithms to insure a “Trump situation” never comes up again.

Google promptly removed the video from YouTube, but there was a video on vimeo, which Google does not own.

No matter: the Unified Media Order had Project Veritas banned from Vimeo, anyways.

So, it’s O’Keefe versus Google. It’s all good fun. But it means nothing in either the short run or the long run. It merely exposes what conservatives already know, namely, that Silicon Valley is in the hip pocket of the Democratic Party. The superrich are Democrats.

Old news. But people sometimes overlook the obvious, so I welcome the reminder myself.

What is important at Google is not the tweaking of the algorithm to make it harder for Trump to be reelected. What is important at Google is that the company is about to make a breakthrough in quantum computing. I talk about this here: [snip: try this link instead]

That bit about quantum computing: this is the part that increases freedom, and so this is the part Christians should be paying attention to.

“Politics fourth.”

Not only does the motto keep you sane, and focused on what you can change (instead of anxiously wringing your hands on what you can’t change).

It also cuts out the political gong shows and empty distractions from your life, so you can focus on what is actually important!
