“Learning” from Liars

A fine article on Christian students in secular settings, “Learning” from Liars, was provided by Andrea G. Schwartz. There are some good ideas here – for example, seeing University bookstores as basically religious venues with drastically overpriced indoctrination material.

The one I want most to remember is that even pagan professors should be treated with respect and fairness. This will help a lot as we expand the Kingdom of God into all areas of life: why should a general waste his men on unneeded fights, or a businessman throw away money on iffy vanity projects?

We only have a limited amount of time and energy to get our chunk of the Kingdom properly tamed and productive, and we are expected to be smart about it!
