The man the crazies fear just got bigger

—<Quote begins>—

I’m staying at the Miami International Airport Hotel as I type this (late last night) so I can catch a direct flight to St. Thomas, USVI, in the morning. And this is what I saw on the wall:

So we’ve endured nearly two years of this nonsense, and there’s still a sign hanging up warning us against crowds of more than ten people?

Here, by contrast, is a graphic that will make you happy, and remind you that hope exists after all.

We already understood why the crazies hate Joe Rogan.

But now we really understand:

YouTube almost instantly removed Rogan’s interviews with Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Robert Malone. Didn’t matter. McCullogh’s interview racked up 40 million listens, and in fact the number is probably higher now. We’ll see if Dr. Malone catches up with him.

YouTube has done enormous damage and is responsible for a massive death toll given its refusal to allow dissident voices who oppose the inhuman policies of what we laughingly call the experts.

But more and more, when YouTube behaves hysterically it only increases people’s curiosity about the figures they target. And people find those figures on YouTube alternatives like Odysee and Rumble.

This week on the Tom Woods Show, which is available on any podcast app, I talk to our old friend Michael Malice, and in today’s episode (#2035), released later in the day, we discuss potential scenarios that we could see unfold in 2022.

I remain cautiously optimistic.

—<Quote ends>—

Interesting, to see alternative media take off.

I haven’t seen Joe Rogan myself: the reviews of people I trust are basically thumbs-down. “Nothing new here.” But that’s not a problem: there will be more and more voices, and perhaps one of them will suit me.

Just as long as the univocal media establishment is properly and definitively busted up, I’m good. That will take a bit of time… but it’s definitely worth the wait!

The Pharma Cartel: America’s COVID-19 vaccine market remains closed off to outside competition

—<Quote begins>—

Are government regulators minimizing the availability of COVID vaccine options in the United States in order to protect our health, or are there many other factors in play — that are completely unrelated to our health — being considered behind the curtain?

The U.S. COVID-19 vaccine market has been shut out to outside competition for almost a year. Despite these shots being marketed and sold as akin to a cure to a coronavirus, they have catastrophically failed to achieve that result. Despite COVID-19 being declared the pandemic of the century, American regulatory agencies remain adamantly opposed to opening the market to more participants.

On December 11, 2020, the FDA issued emergency use authorization (EUA) to Pfizer and BioNTech for their COVID-19 vaccine. The U.S. government has since spent billions of taxpayer dollars on hundreds of millions of Pfizer shots.

On December 18, 2020 the FDA issued an EUA  to Moderna for their COVID-19 vaccine. The U.S. government has since spent billions of taxpayer dollars on hundreds of millions of Moderna shots.

On February 27, 2021, the FDA issued an EUA  to Johnson & Johnson for their COVID-19 vaccine. The U.S. government has since spent billions of taxpayer dollars on hundreds of millions of Johnson & Johnson shots.

All of these shots were developed in early 2020. None have been updated or optimized for variants. Yet they remain the only three shots in town.

Since the early 2021 J&J approval, the FDA has failed to authorize any other candidates for emergency use. The overwhelming majority of taxpayer funds spent on COVID vaccines have gone to Moderna and Pfizer.

Now, Dossier readers know by now that I have become deeply skeptical of the merits of this entire new market, which is rife with the worst of pharmaceutical snake oil salesmen. However, it is worth exploring why the U.S. continues to operate under the Big Three vaccine paradigm.

The COVID-19 problem has not exactly gone away, and the global COVID-19 vaccine market has ballooned into a massive industry, with hundreds of candidates surfacing from all over the world.

Why does the United States still only have 3 authorized COVID vaccines (for emergency use only. The approved Pfizer shot remains inaccessible in the United States)? Let’s take a global snapshot of what’s going on elsewhere.

The European Medicines Agency has authorized 5 COVID vaccines for use. They list the Big Three U.S. shots plus Novavax and Astrazeneca. Additionally, European regulators have listed 4 other shots under a “rolling review” process.

The World Health Organization (WHO) now lists 10 COVID vaccines that are approved for use under their emergency use listing authority.

What are individual nations doing?

America’s top competitors are pursuing a “vaccine nationalism” strategy. China has authorized 6 shots (4 of which are inactivated vaccines), and all of them are produced by Chinese companies. Russia has authorized 4, and all of them are produced by Russian companies.

Most countries are pursuing their vaccine strategy in line with their current alliance structure. This reality does not seem to conform to the narrative of a global, devastating plague, but rather, a geopolitical struggle in the name of a virus. China’s allies are committing to China’s vaccines. Russia’s allies are committing to Russia’s vaccines. The Western world is committing to the U.S.-based shots, plus the Oxford-Astrazeneca shot.

Other nations seem to be engaging in a “we hope something will work” strategy. Indonesia and the Philippines have authorized 11 shots. India, Mexico, Hungary, and Argentina have authorized 9 shots. Vietnam has allowed for 8. Nigeria and Pakistan have said yes to 7.

U.S. “public health” officials have defended the cartel behavior of the Biden Administration, claiming Americans already have access to the very best COVID shots. In late May, the FDA reinforced this position by notifying manufacturers that it may start issuing blanket rejections for new EUA applications, claiming it is too much of a regulatory hassle to go through all of their new data.

Still, companies from around the world continue to submit EUA applications for their COVID-19 vaccines, with zero having secured the golden ticket to the U.S. market. It remains mRNA or bust in the United States.

U.S. public health bureaucrat Anthony Fauci was pushed on this issue in an interview at the end of the year. The D.C. lifer rejected the idea that America should open up the playing field to promising candidates outside of the mRNA (Moderna and Pfizer) vaccines.

When the host asked if the U.S. would entertain the merits of Covaxin (an inactivated vaccine candidate from India’s Bharat Biotech), Fauci went nuclear on her.

“We have enough vaccines, the best vaccines available in the United States … we have what we need. We need to use it,” Fauci said. “We don’t need another vaccine. We have plenty of vaccines,” the angry bureaucrat added.

Despite America’s current regime claiming that Americans have access to the “very best” shots in every major pharmacy across our country, the actual COVID data sure doesn’t suggest anything resembling the idea that our mRNA dominant approach is acting in a more beneficial manner than any other candidate available across the world.

It certainly seems to be a no-brainer that the U.S. would be better off allowing more competitors to enter the space. The hundreds of Big Pharma lobbyists who represent the interests of the Big Three would prefer that never happens. And once again, in line with the recurring theme throughout COVID Mania, it seems that America’s ruling class is making regulatory decisions far removed from its citizens’ actual health interests.

—<Quote ends>—

So these COVID vaccines, as useless as they well be (as they simply do not prevent transmission), have already morphed into yet another fascist union of government and business, built on wealth forcible extracted from the common folk.

And it has nothing to do with the best vaccines to use, based on scientific trials.

But not unexpected, in this puffed-up, financially useful and power-hungry synthetic “emergency”.

Pagan religions have long been tied to profit, be it the silver idol maker in Ephesus, the love of indulgences from Rome, and todays strictly secular manic fear of a somewhat more lethal flu variant. Complete with worthless public rituals of obedience.

Christians need to learn from this, to know what not to do, and how not to live.

Oh: and if you listen closely, you can hear the Profound Marxist Silence between this collusion of government power and big business.

Fascinating… and educational.

Tourist to Woods: Wear Your Mask

—<Quote begins>—

For those of you who like stories, I’ve got one for you.

This week I’m on the island of St. John, the smallest of the U.S. Virgin Islands. (Unpopulated “Water Island” doesn’t count, because I say so.)

On the way back from the beach today we took one of the open-air taxis they have here, which has four rows of seating for passengers.

The U.S. Virgin Islands, I should note in passing, have been fanatical about masking.

The governor seems to want passengers in an open-air taxi to wear masks. Our driver didn’t seem to care, possibly because he knows the rule makes no sense.

Well, as we began our trip, a young woman less than half my age said, from a row or two behind us, “Can you please wear your masks?”

The rest of her family, also in the taxi with her, seemed to want to stay out of it — especially her mother, who urged her to keep quiet.

I promise you this is how it went:

I replied, “It is especially unscientific to wear masks outdoors.”

“If you compare demographically similar populations located next to each other but with different masking policies, you find that they have identical case trajectories.”

She groaned. (She later asked her family members what the word “loitering” meant, so it’s possible she wasn’t following what I was saying.)

“Even the New York Times says it’s silly to mask outdoors,” I continued.

Yes, she actually told me to stop explaining myself.

I continued. “I can put one on, but apart from making you feel better, I promise it will accomplish absolutely nothing.”

Again she urged, “Stop!”

I replied, “You started it. Why am I not allowed to respond?”

I never lost my cool or raised my voice. I said sensible things to which she had no reply except, “It’s the rule!”

To which I answered, “It’s a dumb rule.”

I am quite sure I was dealing with someone educated at the typical liberal-arts school, who is never in a position in which she has to defend her views.

Anyway, there’s a twist to the story.

After being dropped off, I realized I had left my phone on that taxi.

By the time we realized I had left it there, enough time had gone by that I figured that that family must have reached their destination.

I called the phone to see if I could get someone to answer.

It was the brother. I recognized his voice instantly.

He surely knew it was my phone — the phone of the guy who mysteriously refused to believe that wearing a mask aboard that vehicle would accomplish anything.

As I was about to explain myself, he said: “I can see you left your phone here. I will be sure to give it to the driver so he can return it to you.”

Which is precisely what happened.

Perhaps there’s a lesson in this story somewhere.

I leave that to you, dear reader.

—<Quote ends>—

The Bible is full of interesting stories, so I don’t mind taking a crack at this one.

The Lesson:
Every shouty pushy control freak
has guys behind them
who silently disagree.

It is tempting to just dismiss the silence opposition: “Silence is compliance.”

But the quiet ‘supporters’ in the back may do the unexpected, when the eyes of the Terrified Master (Terrified Mistress, in this case) isn’t on them.

There are reasons why tyrannies that seem eternal just fall apart, when pushed the right way.

Guess which term Fauci wants to abandon

—<Quote begins>—

Ron DeSantis was ridiculed for suggesting that someday the definition of “fully vaccinated” could change, and people could lose their jobs for not getting a third mRNA shot.

I don’t know why the lizard people bother ridiculing those who speculate about where the dystopia is going, because everything they speculate about winds up coming to pass.

There are already booster requirements all over the place.

And now we have this from Fauci: we’re not going to use the expression “fully vaccinated” anymore. Why? Because it commits what we laughingly call our public health establishment to determining a definitive endpoint.

He said, “We’re using the terminology now ‘keeping your vaccinations up to date,’ rather than what ‘fully vaccinated’ means. Right now, optimal protection is with a third shot of an mRNA or a second shot of a J&J.”

But with every booster, compliance falls significantly.

With every school closure — nearly two years into this nonsense — more normie parents decide they’ve had it.

With every throttling of a Joe Rogan episode, an audience of (literally) tens of millions gets exposed to previously excluded perspectives.

Does this mean we win?

Well, we have a lot more fighting to do, that’s for sure.

But there are a lot of us. And our numbers are growing, while theirs are falling.

This may seem cheesy to some, but it’s my approach right now:

Time for the white flag: COVID outbreak in Antarctica

—<Quote begins>—

(I’ll deliver on that subject line. Just give me a minute.)

“This was never about a virus,” people keep telling me.

I hear you.

But I say back: “Billions of people to this day think it is.”

Remember, I’m not trying to persuade Joe Biden or Dr. Fauci. I’m trying to reach people of good will who made the mistake — a mistake they were almost programmed to make, given their background in the regime’s schools — of assuming that public officials had their well-being at heart.

In other words, plenty of people went along with all this not because they were involved in anything sinister. They went along because they believed that the so-called experts were acting in good faith.

Others went along, long after doing so had clearly become unreasonable, because they had zero curiosity, they felt uncomfortable holding an opinion other than what the powerful told them to hold, or they’re just dumb as rocks.

Thus Whoopi Goldberg, who recently tested positive.

“I’ve done everything I was supposed to do,” she protests.

“Since she’s vaxxed and boosted, her symptoms have been very, very mild,” said Joy Behar, her co-host on The View.

Hmm. You know who else has symptoms that are very, very mild, especially with the new variant?

Most people, vaxxed or not.

As for doing all the right things, etc., remember this: there was just an outbreak in Antarctica, among fully vaccinated scientists.

Writes the BBC: “A Belgian scientific research station in Antarctica has been hit with an outbreak of Covid-19, despite workers being fully vaccinated and based in one of the world’s remotest regions.”

If this can happen as far away from civilization as it is possible to be, then forget about it. By depriving yourself of the joys of life all you’re doing is stealing time from yourself that you can never get back.

And now, as I write to you, another of the things we’re “supposed to do,” namely mask wearing, is collapsing.

ABC News is running this headline on Twitter: “Studies are emerging that cloth masks are not effective in preventing the spread of COVID.”

Did it really require “studies” for us to figure this out? When we have example after example of demographically similar populations right next to each other but with different levels of masking and yet the same COVID numbers, isn’t that enough to make the effectiveness of masks extremely unlikely, or at least something a rational person would call into question?

One last thing that made me crazy from Twitter this morning and I’ll wrap up.

A well-meaning person shared a list of things a person should do if he wishes to be successful.

Thing #1: wake up early.

I’m glad that works for some people. But I am completely against this weird moralizing about waking up early. What in heaven’s name makes waking up early a path to success? I’m not a farmer, for heaven’s sake. I can work whenever I want.

As a matter of fact, I define success, in part, as being a slave to no man and no clock.

I get much more work done at night than I could in the morning. I’m a wreck when I wake up early.

So here’s my advice: do what works for you. In order to get up early and be rested, you will need to go to bed at the same time as your 85-year-old grandmother. If that appeals to you, that’s super and I wish you the best.

If not, I’m here to tell you that success has nothing to do with any of this, and everything to do with working smart.

Here’s a way to work smart: instead of figuring every last thing out on your own, let knowledgeable people explain them to you. Savings: many, many hours of frustration (that you could be spending sleeping late and being happier and healthier, I might add).

Thus my 30-minute overview video of the simplest model for running a nice little business right from your computer. You can wake up whenever you want, you don’t have to speak to anyone, you don’t have to fill your garage with merchandise, none of it. This is 2022, not 1962.

Costs you nothing. Enjoy:

As the man said:

Thus Whoopi Goldberg, who recently tested positive.

“I’ve done everything I was supposed to do,” she protests.

“Since she’s vaxxed and boosted, her symptoms have been very, very mild,” said Joy Behar, her co-host on The View.

Hmm. You know who else has symptoms that are very, very mild, especially with the new variant?

Most people, vaxxed or not.

This is such a stupid exercise in synthetic fear production.

I suppose the lesson is supposed to be “Don’t vote for Trump, and Don’t vote for Brexit, and Obey Your Betters.”

As if anyone even cares about these increasingly distant concerns that enraged the Establishment, and drove their hunger for vengeance, to reassert control and dominance over the Lower Classes.

<Insert: the Sound of Silence from the Marxist talking heads, regarding the Social/Political Elite and their malice>

In the meantime, the Lesser Types have clean forgotten what sparked the hatred of the Right Sort. All they know is that the Superiors are flaunting how much power they have over them, which only brings resentment.

I hear that (as of Jan 30, 2022) the United Kingdom and Australia will end their COVID-19 restrictions. I suppose that the Little People there have found a way to inflict the needed political pain on their Betters. “When we feel the heat, we see the light.”

As for the long-forgotten medical issues: don’t worry about COVID-19 unless you are over 50 — 1% death rate — or over 75 — 10% death rate. If you are in this age group, then it’s reasonable to take precautions, take the vaccine if you wish, etc.

The sinking ship that the Covid-crazy rats are fleeing

—<Quote begins>—

There’s a particular sinking ship from which the rats are ostentatiously fleeing:

The “keep schools closed” ship.

Now before I get lectured to, let me note: I couldn’t possibly be a bigger opponent of soul-crushing schools that teach kids propaganda.

But I promise you: that’s not the reason all the blue checks have urged us to keep schools closed.

It was all fact-free hysteria, and I’m just flat-out against that no matter what the cause is.

I would never say: “Dr. Fauci is my ally because I don’t like the public school system and he favors closing it.” Dr. Fauci is never my ally, ever.

And the blue checks are reversing themselves on this faster than you can believe.

When the teachers’ unions have lost the blue checks, the polling on keeping schools closed must be horrendous.

I am no fan of Eric Adams, the new mayor of New York, since he favors the evil and useless vaccine passport system, which can never be excused.

But I find it politically interesting that he’s been saying things like this:

“I was a cook. I was a dishwasher. If nobody came to my restaurant when I was in college, I wouldn’t have been able to survive. When you talk about closing down our city, you’re talking about putting low-wage workers out of a job. I’m not letting that happen.”

And about schools specifically, in defiance of the teacher’s unions:

“We want to be extremely clear. The safest place for our children is in a school building. And we are going to keep our schools open….

“We’re not sending an unclear message of what is going to happen day to day. I’m going to tell you what’s going to happen day to day. We are staying open….

“I know there’s questions about staffing, I know there’s questions about testing — there’s a lot of questions. But we’re going to turn those question marks into an exclamation point. We are staying open.”

Let’s also take a look at Ashish Jha, who’s currently at Brown University. He’s been downright nasty through this whole ordeal — compare his conduct to that of the decent and civilized Jay Bhattacharya of Stanford, for instance — and has placed impossible obstacles in the way of school reopening: tying it to rates of “community spread,” demanding onerous measures to ensure “physical safety,” even while mountains of evidence piled up that schools were not unsafe places.

(Sweden’s 1.8 million children all managed to avoid death, and their teachers did better than other professions, while having open schools without masking.)

Then Jha demanded the masking of students, and even told Congress: “No expert that I know of doesn’t believe masking is helpful for kids.”

Sure, Ashish. I’m sure you’ve never, ever encountered an expert who advises against masking kids — even though I myself, not even a member of the medical community, can somehow name you a whole slate of them.

And now, just this week, watch the pivot.

Here’s Jha on Twitter on January 4:

At every turn during this pandemic
We have deprioritized children
And their well-being
The educational losses and mental health tolls will be felt for their lifetimes
Great @DLeonhardt thread on how American kids are in a crisis
And many don’t fully grasp how bad it is

It’s one thing to offer a sincere and profound apology for your errors in the past. It’s quite another all of a sudden to claim to care about the well-being of children when you yourself have been part of the dystopia that has targeted them.

Now, this has been altogether too much discussion of schools without at least a nod to homeschooling, so let me say this:

The wackos are in charge, imposing crazy and useless so-called safety measures, and (as usual) teaching wacko propaganda.

But homeschooling seems too hard. I completely understand that.

Hence the Ron Paul Curriculum, featuring courses by me. It’s self-taught, so parents don’t have to run themselves ragged. It gives students something other than eyeroll-inducing left-wing propaganda. And it teaches them how to communicate effectively, how to run a home business, and how to manage their finances — subjects you’d think they’d be taught in school, but aren’t.

Not to mention, at the link below (and only at this link) I throw in some valuable bonuses you can’t from anybody else who promotes it:

Aiding Biden’s attack on American rights, Supreme Court justices peddle endless streams of COVID misinformation

—<Quote begins>—

In defending the Biden regime’s relentless attacks on our unalienable rights, liberal Supreme Court justices spent the day peddling COVID misinformation. Check out the masquerade on display today at the U.S. Supreme Court.

This is a crowd that is unanimously triple vaxxed, and they had to get a negative test just to get inside of the building. Yet here they are, in Washington, D.C., accommodating the mask religion. The artist’s rendering of the day perfectly captured the commitment to the truck load of false COVID narratives that were on display Friday.

I’m not sure how the Supreme Court is going to vote on the Biden regime’s OSHA rule (reports seem to suggest that the administration is NOT going to get their way), but I was repeatedly struck by how these men and women of supposed great wisdom and intellect were unable to showcase a grasp of basic information related to COVID Mania. In fact, every liberal justice was trafficking in provable misinformation.

I’ve compiled a list of horribly incorrect assessments and assertions that were touted by the black-robed men and women that sit on our nation’s highest court. Here’s but a handful of their uninformed takes.

Justice Sotomayor overstates children’s COVID hospitalizations by over 700x.

Justice Sotomayor falsely attests that COVID deaths and hospitalizations are at an all time high.

Justice Breyer claims, in Bidenesque fashion, that there are currently 750 million COVID cases in America.

Justice Breyer suggests vaccine and mask mandates would bring COVID-19 cases to zero, despite the data from so many countries making clear that these two “tools” do virtually nothing at all to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Justice Kagan, speaking in the rhetorical form of a climate change hoaxer, says the science is “settled” that COVID shots and masks stop the spread, despite zero evidence proving her assertion. Kagan then declared that vaccines stop transmission, repeating the now proven lies that were advanced by the likes of Dr Fauci and Big Pharma.

Justice Kavanaugh, seems, confused…

The GOP appointed justices were not exactly champing at the bit to inform their liberal colleagues. In fact, they seemed to have accepted many of the false premises of their fellow justices.

Justice Thomas proved the exception to the fecklessness, becoming the one justice to challenge the core premises both for the mandates and for the narratives behind the pharmaceutical products themselves.

Looking at this a different way, it might very well be healthy for the Supreme Court’s aura of incredible wisdom seeing a challenge here. These untouchables — similar to federal bureaucrats in the pre-COVID era — receive far too much blind trust from the public at large.

Meanwhile, the triple vaxxed lawyers arguing against the OSHA rule have tested positive for COVID-19, proving in real time how any vax mandates would be laughably ineffective and purely draconian.

—<quote ends>—

We will have to wait longer until the Supreme Court properly delegitimizes itself.

It’s hard to see how it will do so, though. We already know it can and does on occasion give evil rulings, and remains exalted in the eyes of much of the public… especially the Progressives, but on occasion the Government-God Conservatives as well.

More likely, the attitude of the educated public will change in the future… and the Court will not, blowing apart its credibility.

In defying the COVID regime, Novak Djokovic is the new ‘People’s Champ’

—<Quote begins>—

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Novak Djokovic and his heroic defiance of the COVID regime, lending his enormous platform and status to the millions of people around the world who have been denied their unalienable rights in the name of a virus.

You would never know it by his disposition, but “Djoker” has an amazing rags to richer story, and he’s well aware of how governments can cause great human suffering. Growing up in war-torn Belgrade, Djokovic had to learn to play tennis in between bombing raids. Far from a silver spooned prodigy, he had to defy incredible odds to just achieve a modicum of success, and yet he has become one of the greatest athletes of all time.

What separates Djokovic from other pro athletes on the COVID Mania issue is both his status as the world’s greatest and his consistency in been speaking out against the COVID regime. Since day one, this man has been fighting the good fight, but the news hasn’t reached consistent international attention until now.

Djokovic has remained defiant in his public opposition to government force in the form of draconian COVID restrictions and injection mandates. He has done so in the face of incredible scrutiny on all levels.

As early as April 2020, several months before the mass distribution of COVID shots, Djokovic was already speaking out about the future prospect of vaccine mandates.

Now, with the Australian Open just days away, the 20 time grand slam champion (and 9 time Australian Open champion) has turned up the heat. He continues his fight Down Under, squaring off against the forces of a society that has transformed into something akin to a Police State.

On Tuesday, the most Australian Open champ ever made it a point to show that he wasn’t going to bow down to Australia’s COVID regime, which discriminates against the “unvaccinated,” in creating a two tiered Safety Society.

Djokovic is facing ridicule from the media, from powerful governments, and even from his own pro colleagues.

Though he is not without defenders. The man’s family has raised incredible awareness about the punitive conditions through which he is being exposed to by the Australian government.

He reminds us of one particular legendary sportsman of the past, a man who shares his status as one of the greatest professional athletes of all time. Of course, there are no perfect parallels, but there was one man who not so long ago took a hugely important — but deeply unpopular in his time — public stance in the fight for humanity.

That man is the late Muhammad Ali, “The People’s Champ,” who, in his time exiled from the sport of boxing, faced tremendous hostility from all levels of society. Ali’s refusal to enter the armed services and outright protest of the draft drew immense scrutiny and outright insanity. His outspoken rejection of the war in Vietnam, and his explicit challenging of the American civil rights status quo, further infuriated these forces. The media turned him into a monster. The U.S. government persecuted him. He was labeled as ethically depraved. He was robbed of his ability to make a living during a large portion of the prime of his athletic career. In the face of endless cruelty and hate, Ali never wavered.

It wasn’t until years, or really, decades later that Ali’s struggle against the system was universally recognized as a noble endeavor.

Props to Novak Djokovic for fighting the good fight and carrying the torch. For using his platform to fight for the rights of every individual against the forces of government tyranny, he’s the new People’s Champ.

—<Quote ends>—

I don’t think it will take decades. Perhaps one decade, or even five years, seems about right for Djokovic to get the recognition and honour he deserves.

The sinking ship that the Covid-crazy rats are fleeing

—<Quote begins>—

Everyone is catching it now.

At the local high school, for instance, the nurse is slammed all day with calls from parents about positive tests and quarantine and what the rules are.

While I was on the island of St. John last week, two of our dinner reservations were canceled because of COVID-related staffing issues. One night we wound up having dinner at a wine and cheese establishment that doesn’t normally serve much food, but which had plenty of food that night when it realized it was one of the few establishments that wasn’t closed.

And now that everyone is getting it, it’s hard for the true believers, who considered themselves morally superior to their peers for their exquisite observance of the useless mitigation measures, to figure out how to cope.

A reader writes:

“Tom, I have written before but must thank you again for being the hope in the darkness and the voice of reason for the last almost two years. I eagerly await your emails so that it can reinforce what I know to be true — half the psychotic measures that make no rational sense, are actually irrational measures that make no sense! What a relief to know others see this also.

“I wanted to mention something that seems to really be running even more rampant now ever: self-shaming. I think over the last two years, those who have taken the draconian approach to the virus were able to secretly or publicly shame the rest of us who went about living and doing what it means to be human.

“What I am seeing now is that those of my friends and colleagues who have been so careful and have not allowed their kids to go to school in two years, who wear a mask everywhere, who have not dined at a restaurant in two years (take me now, Jesus if that was my penance for avoiding the virus!), are now getting COVID, their kids are getting COVID, and the shame and self-flagellation is awful to witness.

“I do not agree with their tactics, but what is disgusting is the media and those who convinced them they were protecting themselves and their children. It was all a lie so there is nothing for them to do but blame themselves and feel horrible now.

“I had to talk a friend off a ledge this morning who had not allowed her 12-year-old daughter to go anywhere (school or otherwise) since March of 2020, fully vaccinated her, and finally allowed her the first outdoor play date in two years last weekend (with a mask the whole time) and she came down with covid. My friend is beside herself with shame and anger that she allowed this to happen.

“I spent an hour rationally talking her through this (especially since her daughter appears to have a cold and not much more), but this is the tip of an iceberg that is out there. I blame the media, our government, Fauci and the like for sending this messaging that people were successfully avoiding Covid with their measures. Now they are finding out it is an absolute and total lie.

“It is terribly sad and awful what we have done to human beings over this survivable, although nasty, virus. Thank you again for being a hero — I never knew I was a libertarian until I discovered you!”

Two things to tell you before wrapping up:

(1) On February 15, in the penthouse of one of the major hotels on the Las Vegas strip, I am hosting a fundraiser and meet and greet for Angela McArdle in her race for chair of the Libertarian National Committee.

We need as many institutions as possible to be unequivocally opposed to the present dystopia, and the Libertarian Party by and large did an atrocious job on that front. That cannot be forgiven. Angela, by contrast, is outstanding.

It will be an enjoyable evening, and I hope to have a chance to meet you there. Details:

(2) On February 1 at 9:00am Eastern, I will be making the most important announcement of my career.

For as long as I can remember, and especially in recent years, you and I have lived in a world in which every major institution despises us and what we stand for. A world in which lunatics wielding the levers of power want to ruin our lives.

Not knowing what else to do, we’ve more or less just sat back and taken it.

There has to be a better answer.

I have a better answer. I will be announcing it February 1.

I will not be making the announcement on the podcast. To be among the first to hear it:

It is sad, when a man discovers that he has been lied to.

It is worse, when a woman who wants to protect her child discovers that she has been lied to.

Progressives actually, truly do believe in their political leaders.

Politics REALLY IS the road to Salvation for them!

They REALLY DO believe in the Experts!

But, I would not expect much to come from this temporary realization of their failure.

After their political leaders and Public Health expert class have been shown to be a pack of worthless liars… our Progressive Superiors will merely look for some new Mighty Leader, who will crush the wicked and ignorant bigots/ capitalists/ Jews/ Christians/ foreigners/ whatever, and so ring in the Glorious New Era of Joy and Prosperity for All the Right Sorts of People.

They will never learn.

But God is not watching them.

God is watching us.

WE must learn the lesson.

And apply it to our lives and our behaviour: now, and into the future.

Salvation will not come from Mighty Political Leaders. It will not come from religious priests, nor from secularist experts.

It only comes from Jesus Christ, not from mortal men.

And we only show our salvation by obedience to Him and His Commandments: Love God, Love People, Seek Justice, Be Merciful to the Weak and the Poor, Keep your Word, Build Your Family, Leave a Good Inheritance.

We must Hear and Obey God’s Law-Word.

It’s a long walk. And not an easy one.

But, our destination is better than theirs is…

…even on this earth, more often than not!

And definitely in eternity.

As narrative collapses, top scientist unloads on the authorities

—<Quote begins>—

I was in the middle of writing to you today when someone I got to know during this fiasco sent me something I thought you would want to see.

So I’ll save what I was writing for another day, and share this with you instead.

It’s this:

Udi Qimron, head of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Tel Aviv University and a leading Israeli immunologist, has taken the opportunity posed by the collapsing narrative to release this open letter to the authorities (this is a mechanical translation from the original Hebrew):

Ministry of Health, it’s time to admit failure

In the end, the truth will always be revealed, and the truth about the coronavirus policy is beginning to be revealed. When the destructive concepts collapse one by one, there is nothing left but to tell the experts who led the management of the pandemic – we told you so.

Two years late, you finally realize that a respiratory virus cannot be defeated and that any such attempt is doomed to fail. You do not admit it, because you have admitted almost no mistake in the last two years, but in retrospect it is clear that you have failed miserably in almost all of your actions, and even the media is already having a hard time covering your shame.

You refused to admit that the infection comes in waves that fade by themselves, despite years of observations and scientific knowledge. You insisted on attributing every decline of a wave solely to your actions, and so through false propaganda “you overcame the plague.” And again you defeated it, and again and again and again.

You refused to admit that mass testing is ineffective, despite your own contingency plans explicitly stating so (“Pandemic Influenza Health System Preparedness Plan, 2007,” p. 26).

You refused to admit that recovery is more protective than a vaccine, despite previous knowledge and observations showing that non-recovered vaccinated people are more likely to be infected than recovered people. You refused to admit that the vaccinated are contagious despite the observations. Based on this, you hoped to achieve herd immunity by vaccination — and you failed in that as well.

You insisted on ignoring the fact that the disease is dozens of times more dangerous for risk groups and older adults, than for young people who are not in risk groups, despite the knowledge that came from China as early as 2020.

You refused to adopt the “Great Barrington Declaration,” signed by more than 60,000 scientists and medical professionals, or other common-sense programs. You chose to ridicule, slander, distort and discredit them. Instead of the right programs and people, you have chosen professionals who lack relevant training for pandemic management (physicists as chief government advisers, veterinarians, security officers, media personnel, and so on).

You have not set up an effective system for reporting side effects from the vaccines and reports on side effects have even been deleted from your Facebook page. Doctors avoid linking side effects to the vaccine, lest you persecute them as you did to some of their colleagues. You have ignored many reports of changes in menstrual intensity and menstrual cycle times. You hid data that allows for objective and proper research (for example, you removed the data on passengers at Ben Gurion Airport). Instead, you chose to publish non-objective articles together with senior Pfizer executives on the effectiveness and safety of vaccines.

Irreversible damage to trust

However, from the heights of your hubris, you have also ignored the fact that in the end the truth will be revealed. And it begins to be revealed. The truth is that you have brought the public’s trust in you to an unprecedented low, and you have eroded your status as a source of authority. The truth is that you have burned hundreds of billions of shekels to no avail – for publishing intimidation, for ineffective tests, for destructive lockdowns and for disrupting the routine of life in the last two years.

You have destroyed the education of our children and their future. You made children feel guilty, scared, smoke, drink, get addicted, drop out, and quarrel, as school principals around the country attest. You have harmed livelihoods, the economy, human rights, mental health and physical health.

You slandered colleagues who did not surrender to you, you turned the people against each other, divided society and polarized the discourse. You branded, without any scientific basis, people who chose not to get vaccinated as enemies of the public and as spreaders of disease. You promote, in an unprecedented way, a draconian policy of discrimination, denial of rights and selection of people, including children, for their medical choice. A selection that lacks any epidemiological justification.

When you compare the destructive policies you are pursuing with the sane policies of some other countries — you can clearly see that the destruction you have caused has only added victims beyond the vulnerable to the virus. The economy you ruined, the unemployed you caused, and the children whose education you destroyed — are the surplus victims as a result of your own actions only.

There is currently no medical emergency, but you have been cultivating such a condition for two years now because of lust for power, budgets and control. The only emergency now is that you still set policies and hold huge budgets for propaganda and consciousness engineering instead of directing them to strengthen the health care system.

This emergency must stop!

That is a beautiful letter, I’m sure you will agree.

And yet what I can’t help thinking is: virtually everything in that letter was known to everyone in my elite group a long time ago.

Just read the threads inside the Tom Woods Show Elite, and within six to eight months you’ll hear the authorities grudgingly admit their truth.

But rather than wait six to eight months, why not just join me inside Normal Person Central and find out the truth right away?

Membership inside the indispensable Tom Woods Show Elite, where your heart is correctly telling you that you belong, is one of the many benefits you receive, dear reader, as a supporting listener of the Tom Woods Show, which today will release its 2041st free episode.

—<Quote ends>—

My bet?

The hard core would rather die — or, worse for them, lose re-election — than admit they were wrong.

The vast majority of the lockdown supporters will simply and totally change their tune, without an ounce of guilt or reflection.

Consider the 1960s, when Progressive Democrat Darwinians — after decades of pushing racially oppressive policies (and not from some statehouse, but from Congress and the White House, to be enforced nationally) — instantly and totally painted Conservative Republican Christians as evil racists, about four seconds after it became politically expedient to do so.

Our Betters will learn nothing.

We, who paid the price for this fiasco (as intended), had better learn our lesson from God’s stern hand.

Lessons we should have learned ages ago: regarding the politicians, scientists, the media, the Public Health officials, and just how highly they value and respect our livelihoods, our liberty, our freedom, our self-governance, our bodies.

Our Betters, having paid no price and escaping all responsibility and consequences (see: Governor Cuomo), will learn nothing.

(Just like the thieves, murderers, and liars of most Communist countries, by the way.)

But we, having paid the price, can learn the hard lessons.

And build a better society: one more resilient and more resistant to the dictators, the collectivists, the experts, the media noise machines, and the fascists of the future.

A future of liberty, rather than slavery to Our Caring Betters.

A future God would approve of.

Something worthy of free men.

Is the CDC director “bad at messaging”?

—<Quote Begins>—

This man successfully sued his university when it demanded he get jabbed despite having natural immunity.

I’m talking about Todd Zywicki, a law professor at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School.

Professor Zywicki appeared on the Tom Woods Show back in 2019, before the world had gone completely bonkers.

At that time I thought he was an impressive guy, but I had no idea what was to come.

Here’s a Twitter thread of his from this week. You’ll see what I mean:

So the story is [that CDC director Rochelle] Walensky is just a “bad communicator.” But how would you like to be the one who has to communicate the new talking points?

“Yeah, well, we’ve been telling you for a year that getting vaccinated will prevent you from getting infected and transmitting Covid. Which turns out we were wrong about that. While it might reduce your chances of getting Covid, it won’t reduce transmission if you get it.

“Well, turns out we were wrong about that, too. With Omicron you are actually
more likely to contract and transmit Covid. But trust us, we are certain that even though getting vaxxed will make you more likely to contract and transmit Covid than someone who is unvaxxed, we know it will protect you from serious illness. Trust us. We are certain it is safe in both the short term and long term. So get your booster!

“Well, actually, check that — it turns out that you are really only at risk of serious illness and death from Covid if you are older and unhealthy with multiple serious comorbidities. And the risks of some serious side effects, such as myocarditis in young men, are actually higher. But even though it increases your risk of contracting Omicron, is unnecessary for those who are young and low risk, is unquestionably harmful to everyone with natural immunity especially against Omicron, and side-effects are higher than we thought, trust us. Get vaxxed and boost.

“Oh, by the way, did we mention that boosters are far less effective than initial vaccination, have cumulative risks of adverse effects, and wane by 10 weeks?”

That is the message that Walensky is being blamed for not being able to sell to the public? Really? The solution is she just needs more media training to sell that message?

Beautifully put.

Now, here’s something to make you happy:

Team Woods vs Team (Scott) Horton in a libertarian version of Family Feud, taken from my 2000th episode live event in Orlando.

We faced questions like:

“Name the government agency you’d abolish first.”

“Name the governor you’d most like to send to Guantanamo Bay.”

“Name the libertarian you’d want in your tribe during the zombie apocalypse.”

“Name a conspiracy theory with which you agree.”

“Name the actor most likely to play Tom in a movie about his life.”

“Name a profession libertarians despise.”

So here’s something to put on in the background while at work, or to make popcorn and watch while at home:

Or, better yet, abolish the offices.

The COVID Mania era highlights the shortcomings of democracy

—<Quote begins>—

Democracy will not protect us.

If the era of COVID Mania has showcased one thing about democracy, it’s that the system we were brought up to worship and instinctively defend is no guarantor of our rights whatsoever. Far from securing our liberties, pure or representational democratic systems — as the foundation of over 100 governments — has instead been used in this era as a cudgel to impose totalitarianism on the masses.

With so many of the world’s “democracies” transforming into some of the worst examples of full-blown COVID tyranny, our present time reminds us of the inherent weaknesses of majority rule systems. I’m not saying that the answer lies in embracing some communist or fascistic nonsense, but we need to stop relying on the concept of democracy as some kind of magical solution to our current problems.

We are now two years into this global authoritarian “great reset,” and much of it has been imposed upon us with the eager consent of the governed. Surveys show that the COVID police states in Australia and New Zealand have long had the majority support of the people. Left wing enclaves in the United States, such as New York City and San Francisco, have imposed discriminatory movement pass systems, and they have been cheered on by the locals. Democracy in action.

In reality, almost all of this authoritarian nonsense is being ordered and enforced by democratically elected representatives and bureaucrats who they’ve empowered.

Thanks to decades-long indoctrination campaigns in the Western world, so many of us have accepted, without question, the idea that a representative democracy is the preferred system to secure our freedoms. Yet when put to the test in the era of COVID Mania, democracy has catastrophically failed to secure anything for us but a completely unchecked ruling class that is more than happy to accommodate these one-person, one-vote delusions of empowerment. Meanwhile, the people in charge continue to elevate themselves to greater positions of authority and power.

The American founding fathers, in their incredible learned wisdom, often stressed the importance of “unalienable rights,” or a set of foundational rights that are impossible to rescind from human beings. Some of us arrive upon the security of these individual rights standards through a higher power, while others prefer their security through a standard of human reason.

What separates America today — or at least select pockets of the United States — from the rest of the Anglosphere (which includes United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand) is this continuing commitment to individual rights, and their protection through our Second Amendment rights.

Democratically-elected officials have no mandate to take away our rights. We have much higher moral standards than democracy. We must continue to insist upon the protection of our unalienable, individual rights above all else.

—<Quote ends>—

Better – far better – to trust in God and in obedience to His Word, than to the kindness and concern of representative democracy.

Now, I do support the democratic system, as I believe that people deserve to get the leaders they vote for.

Good and hard.

I merely don’t see democracy as some guarantee of justice, truth, or liberty.

If the people have the law of God inscribed in their heart, they can make it work fairly well. Primarily, by not ruling much of anything, and using the power of the State only to punish lawbreakers like thieves and murderers.

Most government is self-government, family government, and maybe some church government. The men with the uniforms, badges and guns should stay at home, as a rule of thumb: we can run our own lives ourselves, thank you very much.

Same deal for both the white-smock priesthood and the black-smock priesthood. They both have their place, which is to be sharply restricted in public authority, and without tax funding or political powers.

Supreme Court rules: here’s the good news and the bad news

—<Quote begins>—

First, the bad news.

The Supreme Court has upheld the vaccination requirement for health-care workers as a condition for receiving Medicare and Medicaid funds.

Opinions like this one are maddening to read, because they confine themselves to questions such as whether the Secretary of Health and Human Services exceeded his congressionally granted authority when imposing this requirement. The Court then proceeds to explain that the Secretary has been understood to enjoy a very broad authority when it comes to imposing requirements regarding the administration of Medicare and Medicaid.

Not considered is where the federal government’s authority to intervene in matters involving health, whether or not given statutory expression by Congress or delegated to a health bureaucrat, derives from or how it can be justified.

Perhaps this ruling will lead to further growth in direct primary care practices, which accept neither Medicare nor Medicaid, nor even traditional insurance. That is another question.

The good news is very good: the OSHA vaccine mandate for employees of businesses with 100 or more workers has been blocked.

Such a measure, the Court says, constitutes a vast overreach by OSHA into the more general field of public health, where it has not been granted authority.

It would have been nicer to hear an opinion based on the nature of what was being demanded as opposed to whether the institution doing the demanding was the correct one.

But I’ll take what I can get.

I pulled out some relevant passages from the opinion of the Court:

“Although COVID– 19 is a risk that occurs in many workplaces, it is not an occupational hazard in most. COVID–19 can and does spread at home, in schools, during sporting events, and everywhere else that people gather. That kind of universal risk is no different from the day-to-day dangers that all face from crime, air pollution, or any number of communicable diseases. Permitting OSHA to regulate the hazards of daily life—simply because most Americans have jobs and face those same risks while on the clock—would significantly expand OSHA’s regulatory authority without clear congressional authorization….

“OSHA’s indiscriminate approach fails to account for this crucial distinction— between occupational risk and risk more generally—and accordingly the mandate takes on the character of a general public health measure, rather than an ‘occupational safety or health standard….’

Justice Gorsuch concurred with the Court, and was joined by Justices Thomas and Alito in a concurring opinion from which I draw the following passages (internal footnotes omitted):

“I start with this Court’s precedents. There is no question that state and local authorities possess considerable power to regulate public health. They enjoy the ‘general power of governing,’ including all sovereign powers envisioned by the Constitution and not specifically vested in the federal government.

“The federal government’s powers, however, are not general but limited and divided. Not only must the federal government properly invoke a constitutionally enumerated source of authority to regulate in this area or any other. It must also act consistently with the Constitution’s separation of powers. And when it comes to that obligation, this Court has established at least one firm rule: ‘We expect Congress to speak clearly’ if it wishes to assign to an executive agency decisions ‘of vast economic and political significance.’ We sometimes call this the major questions doctrine. OSHA’s mandate fails that doctrine’s test. The agency claims the power to force 84 million Americans to receive a vaccine or undergo regular testing. By any measure, that is a claim of power to resolve a question of vast national significance. Yet Congress has nowhere clearly assigned so much power to OSHA….

“The question before us is not how to respond to the pandemic, but who holds the power to do so. The answer is clear: Under the law as it stands today, that power rests with the States and Congress, not OSHA. In saying this much, we do not impugn the intentions behind the agency’s mandate. Instead, we only discharge our duty to enforce the law’s demands when it comes to the question who may govern the lives of 84 million Americans. Respecting those demands may be trying in times of stress. But if this Court were to abide them only in more tranquil conditions, declarations of emergencies would never end and the liberties our Constitution’s separation of powers seeks to preserve would amount to little.”

This does not solve all problems, obviously. Some private entities will persist in vaccine mandates despite their injustice, irrationality, and general uselessness. Other problems, like vaccine passports, are occurring at the local level and must be dealt with at the local level — though we can hope they will resolve themselves as they destroy business and tourism.

But it is a start.

Just yesterday on the Tom Woods Show I spoke to the owner of an art gallery in New York City who is refusing to demand proof of vaccination from his patrons.

He’s a lifelong Democrat and his parents are civil-rights lawyers.

He feels like he is carrying on their tradition.

We can hope that more such people will be emboldened to speak out.

In the meantime, you will enjoy this important conversation:

I am unhappy, though, that it wasn’t tossed out on its face before it even got this far.

Student resists, refuses to wear suffocation mask

—<Quote begins>—

There’s a push to get us all wearing what I call suffocation masks.

Naturally, I’m not doing it.

They tried this in Germany, and it didn’t do any good.

Even if these masks conferred a very marginal benefit, it is not unreasonable to prefer the clarity of communication that comes from unobstructed speech and visible facial expressions, or to find it dehumanizing to be confronted all day by masked faces. Children still learning how to communicate should not have their faces covered, and infants learning language and facial cues should not have to contend with a world in which they rarely see a human face.

I mention this because a parent sent me the following story from the University of Georgia.

He begins:

Just some background. UGA is part of the University System of Georgia (USG), the state run public higher education system, so whatever policy the USG sets, all schools in that system must abide by. Last year they set policy that while schools could “strongly” encourage vaccination, masks, distancing, etc, they could not enforce it on any of the students or faculty. They could not unilaterally “go virtual.” As you can imagine, this enraged the more left leaning professors who feel they were literally putting their lives on the line to teach these students (UGA was home of the “die in” last where these sorts lay down all over the main campus to illustrate “what would happen” if “sensible” mandates weren’t put in place).

This parent’s story involves his son and a particular professor:

As my son entered the classroom, the professor (Richard Dien Winfield @WinfieldForUS, check out his Twitter feed for some eye-rolling enjoyment) handed out KN95 masks to any students not already wearing one. He stated in no uncertain terms that in his classroom cloth masks were verboten and all students were expected to wear his approved KN95. Taken off guard (until now none of his other professors had made such demands) he slipped it on.

The class was then subjected to a 30-minute diatribe about the importance of wearing the mask. The professor lectured them that they had no right to threaten his life since he was not threatening theirs: he is triple vaxed and not carrying a gun. He also claimed that 100 percent of the death and illness from COVID could be avoided if people used vaccines and masks. He described the government as immoral for not mandating vaccines and masks. The United States, he said further, was evil, backward, and antiquated because it was the only country with a constitution that didn’t guarantee the right to health care.

At the conclusion of the class my son spoke to the professor one on one to inquire as to what would be the consequences of not wearing a mask. “Oh, well, you’ll release particles in the air that can….” My son stopped him. “No, I understand that. I mean, what will happen to me if I refuse to wear the mask?” The professor was taken aback and condescendingly reiterated his reasons for wearing a mask and concluded that my son did not care about other people.

My son responded, “I never said the reason I won’t want to wear a mask is because I don’t care about other people.” At that point the professor responded that if he didn’t wear a mask he would not return to teach the class in person, and exited in a huff.

Oh, and the icing on the cake: this is the ethics class. I’d be curious to hear his take on the ethics of deploying power disparities to coerce behavior.

But it gets better. My son’s very next class was with this same professor! So he decided to test the waters.

In my son’s own words, “He passed out KN95s like he did in the first class, giving one to me, and the other students who had cloth masks. He then saw I was the only one without a KN95 and thought I didn’t get a mask, so he gave me another one, which I then did not put on. He then said, ‘C’mon, man, what’s the deal? Put it on,’ to which I said something to the effect of ‘No, I’m not going to.’

Continuing with my son’s words: “The professor then went on about how I would have to participate online. I said, ‘I’ll leave, if you kick me out.’ He said, ‘No I won’t kick you out,’ and went on to give the same speech from the previous class — but this time, when he spoke about the anti-science people who won’t wear masks or get vaxed, he made sure to include plenty of digs. For instance, he said, staring directly at me in a class of 50-70 people, ‘Some people don’t care about the health and safety of their classmates, peers, or community of Athens, and are sitting there with a egotistical self-love against any sort of care/empathy for other people.’ He made many such digs. I tried to stay after the second class to talk to him again but he ran off surely afraid of me because I wasn’t wearing a mask.”

Now I’d like to think my son’s bravery in the face of such intimidation comes from his wonderful parents who raised him right. Even if that is true, we do have to share his conviction and backbone with the many great authors and thinkers he has read over the past 18 months. He has voraciously consumed books from Rand, Hoppe, Rothbard, and many more.

It is easy for these professors to bully students into submitting to their delusions, since most students will not have the intellectual foundation to recognize how those professors are abusing their positions of authority. It helped, too, that his mother spearheaded the movement last year to ensure that the USG Board of Regents would maintain a firm line on not mandating vaccines and masks. So he is well aware of alternative points of view, and less likely to act as if in the classroom the professor is God.

The upshot of this is that my son opted to drop those classes for now for fear of grade retaliation. One hopes the insanity will be over by Fall? Right? It must be.

Who knows.

But good for that student.

Remember those awful high school graduation speeches about being yourself, being true to yourself, being willing to stand out from the crowd, etc.?

Yeah, nobody ever follows that.

Except the occasional outlier like this student, who showed his peers that not everyone has bought into the lunacy.

Another benefit of the Ron Paul Curriculum (for K-12 students) and Liberty Classroom (for adult enrichment) is that you don’t have to have altercations like this — not only because these programs are online, but also because they don’t involve any insane people.

And speaking of online instruction:

My friend’s foreign-language company, Rocket Languages, is winding down its 60% off New Year’s sale, so only the next 36 courses sold will get the discount (aren’t you glad you know me?). Check it out:

I call those masks muzzles myself, as I am fairly confident that silencing, cowing, and getting people to Shut Up and Comply is their basic intent.

Not disease reduction, which might be true if you are a COVID Carrier. But a mask will not protect you in the slightest if you don’t have the disease.

Scientists know this already.

But politicians and bureaucrats love to see that sign of Mass Submission to their mandates.

It really is all about power, dominance, and social/political superiority games.

Nothing more.

Anyways… I like students who can think for themselves, and can fight an intellectual battle well.

A skill set that Christian parents are to build into their children. It’s a great tool for freedom fighters in gaining success and victory in life.

Rogue street art appears overnight in D.C., mocks Biden & Fauci’s COVID regime

—<Quote begins>—

I wanted to turn your attention to a handful of premier art masterpieces that have appeared overnight in Washington, D.C.

The artwork is a brilliant Soviet-style mockery of Joe Biden and Anthony Fauci COVID Mania regime. And seeing it appear in downtown Washington, D.C., the home of America’s ruling class and unquestioning COVID compliance, is the perfect setting for these absolute gems.

The first piece showcases an angry Joe Biden holding an OSHA-labeled mallet surrounded by the word “comply.” The second illustration, labeled, “good kids are compliant kids,” shows a handful of children in red masks looking up to an injection needle-surrounded Joe Biden. The third shows a sitting Joe Biden holding the coronavirus in his hand, with the caption, “Mandate! Segregate! Subjugate!” The last piece of artwork, “Trust The Scientism,” shows Anthony Fauci, dressed in clergy attire, possessing a giant hypodermic needle.

I particularly enjoy the Soviet propaganda style. It

Here are the four posters lined up together, courtesy of Leigh Wolf’s Twitter page:

A DC Karen noticed the artwork and started to rip down the posters.

She was filmed desecrating the artwork by Leigh Wolf, a comms and production professional who happens to be a former colleague of mine at CRTV/Blaze Media Wolf spotted the artwork and took photos of it before it was ripped down.

I reached out to Leigh and asked if he had any inside info about how the artwork ended up in Washington D.C. Wolf told me he has no idea who put them up. I’ll post an update if I can find the artist behind these magnificent creations.

Revealed: what Democrats want to do to the unvaccinated

—<Quote begins>—

What’s happening to the unvaccinated in some countries almost defies belief.

We’ve endured some horrors here, to be sure, but not we’re not Australia.

But that’s exactly what many Democrats would prefer, and then some, if they could have their way.

How do we know? Polling data.

Rasmussen just reported the following:

— 59% of Democrats favor forcing the unvaccinated to stay home at all times except for emergencies.

— 55% of Democrats favor levying state or federal fines on people who decline the shot.

— 48% of Democrats favor fines or imprisonment for people who publicly question vaccine efficacy.

— 47% of Democrats favor a government tracking program to people who decline the shot.

— 45% of Democrats support temporary relocation to “designated facilities or locations” for those who decline the shot.

— 29% of Democrats favor temporarily removing your custody of your children if you decline the shot.

That’s pretty twisted.

Not to mention that none of that has any connection to “public health,” since the vaccinated are also spreading the virus. (The recent outbreak among vaccinated scientists in Antarctica really took the cake.)

This is punishment of the noncompliant.

No wonder the idea of “national divorce” is trending. Who would want to share a country with people so hateful and irrational?

Realize that for those of us who have indeed declined the shot, as we walk around in our day-to-day lives we are coming into contact with people who would track us, confine us, imprison us for questioning vaccine efficacy (so vaccine efficacy is something we know a priori?), or take our children away.

You see why it might be helpful to have a lifeline to normal, intelligent, supportive people?

If not now, when?

The Tom Woods Show Elite, my private group — not on Facebook, of course — is where you can find such people.

It’s one of the many perks of supporting the Tom Woods Show.

After two years of sunk costs from COVID Mania, the U.K. surrenders in its war against a virus

In admitting de facto defeat in their war against a submicroscopic infectious particle, the United Kingdom has announced that they will soon drop all of the nation’s COVID19-related restrictions. Most notably, the U.K. is abandoning its discriminatory vaccine passport system.

It’s quite a departure from the last two years, in which the Boris Johnson-led regime installed one unscientific, tyrannical policy after another, justifying edict after edict as a mechanism to fight a war against COVID-19. Johnson has been one of the world’s worst enforcers of tyranny, frequently ginning up endless hysteria, and excusing Britain’s transformation into an authoritarian regime over the course of the COVID Mania era. Don’t let the corporate media tell you otherwise, this is absolutely a BIG deal. The PM is one of the main faces of the COVID regime, and he’s essentially admitting to defeat in front of the whole world.

And in even better news, citizens seem to be broadly fed up with this class of government officials. Johnson, for his part, has become a deeply unpopular leader.

Yes, the ruling class in Britain will never admit that it was all for nothing, and this is a much bigger issue than just Boris Johnson. The entire U.K. system adopted, enforced, and cheered on these restrictions.

And surely, these politicians and fraudulent “experts” will put on their best COVID-19 rain dance impression, and they will even pretend that they are to credit for the disease eventually becoming endemic. But the data doesn’t lie. Nothing worked. And every “public health measure” enforced by the U.K. government — and this includes almost every single government in the world — made matters worse. They can’t afford to admit to this massive sunk costs to the British citizenry

Again, every policy measure devised by “public health experts” and implemented by the government failed. Every single one. Not a soul was saved by the British government, or any government, but millions and millions were most certainly harmed by their catastrophic adoption of Wuhan-like measures to fight a virus.

The lockdowns failed. The mask mandates failed. The curfews failed. The movement passes failed. Nothing worked, and as each day passed by, the U.K. racked up an increasingly growing sunk humanitarian and economic cost upon its own people.

For two years, anti lockdown protesters in the U.K. took to the streets in defense of their fundamental freedoms. This hard fought battle was won in part by citizens continually rising up against the COVID authoritarianism and peacefully expressing their displeasure with the ruling class. Let’s hope that this trend continues, that the rest of Europe, and the world as a whole, retracts these anti-human, dangerous, destructive draconian policies.

The normal people just had some victories

—<Quote begins>—

A Tom Woods Show guest just had a nice victory in Charles County, a blue county in Maryland.

Alexandra Rak came on my show not long ago to discuss what it’s been like as a homeschooling mom in a county and state that bought into the lunacy.

At that time she told us about an upcoming hearing regarding a mask mandate for the county. Thanks to the hysteria, the hearing — which took place Tuesday night — was held online.

She just wrote to me with the results:

We killed it tonight! After a 6-hour meeting, the final count was:

1940 public comments opposed to the mandate
197 public comments in favor
60+ live witnesses testifying against the mandate
6 live witnesses in favor of the mandate
Needed a 4-1 or 5-0 vote to pass as it was emergency legislation, and it died on a 3-2 vote count.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the amplification of our cause.

Good for them!

You’ve probably also heard the news from the UK: they’re dropping their COVID Pass system as well as their mask mandate, and will leave matters up to the judgment of the people.

Another item: the World Health Organization just said that international travel bans should be lifted, that they “do not provide added value” and contribute to “economic and social stress,” and that proof of vaccination may after all not be “the only pathway or condition” for such travel.

There are some good developments amidst the madness.

The brilliant commentator known as Zuby just added this:

“People who constantly spread demoralizing doom and gloom about how we are all going to be enslaved by the ‘global elites’ and how there is nothing we can do to stop their evil agenda are just as unhelpful as the people who think the rona is going to kill everybody.”

I agree completely. The fight is difficult enough without constant discouragement.

On February 1 I will be announcing the most effective way I know to resist the lizard people and get our lives back. It’s the most important announcement I’ve ever made.

Small victories against the enslaving lizard people count.

I like big ones more, though…

….but if you look closely, you will see that big victories are largely built on a vast number of small victories that finally reach a tipping point.

Kudos to the British people!

How’s that vax passport system going?

—<Quote begins>—

I’ve been wondering about what will happen with the various vaccine passport systems in certain American cities.

To me it’s obvious that they will harm business and undermine tourism. Supporters say they will benefit business because (ignorant) people will feel “safe” going to restaurants now.

Even if that were true, any gains would still be less than the loss in business, but I’m not even sure it is true: anyone who, two full years later, is still fearful of restaurants, is the kind of person who won’t go even with a vaccine passport system in place. After all, patrons remove their holy masks while eating!

Inside the Tom Woods Show Elite, someone shared what’s happening with the vaccine passport system in the Chicago area, and it sounds like good news to me:

I just listened to the latest episode with Lew Rockwell and based on what you mentioned about vax passports, wanted to shed some light on what’s happening in Chicago. I live just outside of the city limits of Chicago so I’m mostly impacted by the rules of the Cook County Health Dept, which are mostly the same.

Before the Cook County vax passport on everybody 5+ ever even took effect, they revised it to be 16+ for entertainment or fitness-related stuff. Only about a fourth of 5-11 year olds even in Cook County are “fully” vaccinated, so this was going to be a death blow to all child activities. I was in the process of calling all extracurriculars for my kids before the revision to pull out my kids, and they said they had been getting flooded with similar calls and didn’t know what they would do. I go to a small mom and pop gym, and when I called them to cancel my membership, they told me they would not be enforcing it — my first sign of hope.

Many cities surrounding the Chicago core in Cook County have outright defied the order and said they will leave it up to the Cook County Health Dept to enforce it, and in effect this means it’s flagrantly violated. Cook County and Chicago are trying their hardest to get people in line with violations, but the disobedience to the order is so widespread. I went to lunch downtown last week and despite the signs of the vax and mask requirements, I walked right in unmasked and didn’t hear a peep about any of it. Most people are just sick of this.

I’m trying to find a place to schedule my kids’ birthday party, and I’ll ask them up front — plenty in the defiant suburbs have told me they are not enforcing.

The places that do seem to be enforcing the order are all major chain businesses and restaurants or places with a heavy concentration of Branch Covidians. Portillos is a Chicago staple of a restaurant, and they are rigidly enforcing the order. When I went there with my family to test it, the restaurant was completely empty — unheard of on a Sunday afternoon. We went down the street to a small, family-owned restaurant and ate there just fine and it was packed.

Some places are also being upfront about their disobedience. I was also in another part of Chicago that is largely non-woke zealots to a Wendy’s the other day and half the employees there weren’t even wearing masks. I’m hearing through the grapevine from friends that in parts of the south and west neighborhoods of Chicago, businesses are laughing at people if they need to show vax cards. Those that are enforcing it are seeing massive drop-offs of about 50% of their revenue.

So there is hope. What I bet will happen is that when omicron wave naturally dies down, they will get away from this order quickly, claim their fake victory, and then put it behind them.

I have the same hope.

I for one intend to vacation in places that actually want me there, and to avoid places governed and cheered on by deranged hypochondriacs.

Still, it was encouraging to get this report from a member of my Elite group.

It’s an example of what I mean when I say it’s full of smart people who haven’t lost their minds over the virus.

I hope you’ll join me in there:

Fauci’s poll numbers: bad for him, good for us

—<Quote begins>—

These days it seems as if everywhere I turn, a new person is saying the whole thing is stupid and I’m not doing it anymore.

This time it’s an editorial writer for USA Today.

Headline: “I am done with masks. We’ve been idiotic about them since the beginning.”

He begins with this: “Who knew that little pieces of plastic or cloth worn over the nose and mouth could turn people into complete idiots?”

In response to Dr. Leana Wen’s recent observation that cloth masks are nothing more than “facial decoration,” he responds, “Well, I feel like an idiot for all the times I donned a facial decoration and forced my kids to do the same.”

He dismisses the drive for N95 masks as unreasonable, and concludes: “As for me, I’ve had it with masks. I feel like a fool, and I am not going to play any more.”

Then, too, Bari Weiss, formerly of the New York Times opinion section, made waves on Bill Maher’s program recently when she declared herself “done with COVID,” and swatted down the standard arguments with data.

The only thing missing was: I’m sorry for going along with it all this time and demonizing people who said then what I’m saying now.

The whole “we now have new information” thing from Weiss and others is disingenuous. We knew very early on that the crazies were wrong and that nothing they recommended did any good. A simple “stay home when you’re sick” would have been better than their entire mitigation program.

Having said that, I by no means decline Bari Weiss’s membership in Team Reality, and I’m happy to see our ranks continue to grow.

Before I reveal the happiest of the three items I have to report to you today, in terms of the evolution of opinion, I want to make sure you know a term.

Surely you know “red pill” and “blue pill,” from The Matrix. You and I are red pilled. We understand the nature of the regime that rules over us. We don’t accept the establishment version of events.

The blue pilled are those who even now still think the public health establishment just has the best interests of Americans at heart and should be trusted to do sensible things.

A white pill, meanwhile, is a source of optimism for us.

And now for a white pill:

A recent NBC News poll — so not exactly biased in our favor — finds more Americans distrust Fauci than trust him.

The question was, “In general, do you trust Dr. Fauci has said about the coronavirus or not?” The results were 43% no, and 40% yes.

Compare those results to 60% yes and 8% no in April 2020.

Meanwhile, Ireland just announced it’s dropping most COVID restrictions, and England (not the UK as I mistakenly said the other day) is dropping its mask mandate and vaccine passport system.

Austria keeps putting off its mandatory vaccination program, and there are murmurs in England about pushing the vaccine mandates for NHS workers back six months.

We’re almost there.

With next to no high-profile support, and with every major opinion-molding institution against us, we’ve begun to turn the tide.

What you and I say and do is not in vain.

And speaking of that, here’s how I can help amplify your voice:

If you’ve ever considered starting a website or blog, you know the main problem facing you: nobody visits.

Well, remember my publicity offer: get your hosting through my link and you’ll not only get a good price, but I’ll also publicize your site to get you that critical burst of initial traffic. 6 Pack: Pfizer, Fauci press forward on 3 additional Omicron-specific mRNA shots

—<Quote begins>—

Make it a six pack.

Pfizer announced Tuesday, to great fanfare from the cattle class, that they are officially starting trials for an Omicron-specific COVID vaccine on their novel mRNA platform.

The projected protocol calls for an additional two dose series followed by a booster some months after the back to back shots. For people who are already triple injected, that can make for 6 shots in total over the course of a couple years, or even sooner, if Pfizer soon receives expedited authorization for its latest formulation.

Changing the formula is a newfound endeavor for Pfizer, as the mRNA vaccine developed in collaboration with BioNTech has never been reoriented for any past strains of the coronavirus. Both Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna that it would be easy to fire up new shots on demand. They have not sufficiently explained why they did not make new shots for previous variants, which were reportedly much more threatening than the Omicron mutation.

Recipients of the current injection continue to receive a shot formulated for the original strain, which has not existed in circulation for a very long time. Additionally, there remains no FDA approved COVID vaccine in the United States.

As I reported previously in The Dossier, The CEO of BioNTech signaled last month that they would move in the direction of a 6 dose mRNA regimen. Today, Pfizer confirmed that they’re moving full steam ahead with the project.

Now in peak COVID/Flu season in much of the world, countries are failing to achieve demonstrable success with the overall mRNA platform. Israel, the most mRNA injected country on earth, where many citizens are now on dose 4 of the original mRNA formula, is currently seeing an unprecedented outbreak of unbelievable proportions. This week, the country is sporting a 20-30% daily positivity rate, with over 500,000 active cases.

(Go to the original article for the original link)

Anthony Fauci, the infamous federal bureaucrat and part time Big Pharma used car salesman, was quick to applaud Pfizer for starting the Omicron trials, despite the reality that this new shot will probably not receive clearance until the Omicron wave has completely subsided and there will no longer be any use for the therapy.

Applauding Pfizer, Anthony Fauci appeared on television Tuesday to rally members of his religious group in support of the company’s press release.

“What the company is trying to do … you’d want to protect people from breakthrough infections and you might want to boost them, it makes sense to think in terms of at least having ready an Omicron-specific boost,” Fauci started. “I think it’s prudent to at least prepare for the possibility that this may be a persistent variant that we have to face,” he added.

Not the best sales job. It seems that even Fauci is having a hard time justifying another monster cash grab for his friends at Pfizer.

Anyway, there you have it. Just 6 shots to stop the spread!

And to wrap this up, a quick reminder how much the narrative has changed:

So much failure.

Let’s see if Pfizer will ever be held accountable by any party, Republican or Democrat.

What happened to the mRNA ‘miracle’?

—<Quote begins>—

With the initial roll out of the “the cure for COVID-19,” the “experts” assured us that these mRNA vaccines — a first of its kind platform developed and distributed to the masses by Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna — were akin to a miracle cure.

“Public health experts” in the form of government health bureaucrats and academics, in addition to a complete roster of corporate press stenographers, exclaimed that the United States and first mover Western nations had access to a technology that is far superior to the vaccines of the past. Not to worry, the cure was here, and the mRNA miracle would save us from the despair of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Everyone seemingly bought in, before this hardly tested, novel technology made its way into the arms of the masses. Stunning infographic videos were created to highlight how exactly this revolutionary technology, a “modern miracle,” would attack and destroy the virus, rendering it helpless to spread among populations that were mRNA vaccinated.

The mRNA superiority narrative continues to this day. At the end of 2021, Time Magazine honored the “vaccine pioneers” behind the mRNA platform as the magazine’s “Heroes of the Year.”

For Pfizer, BioNTech, and Moderna, this relentless praise and positive press was incredibly lucrative. mRNA orders from government customers were flying off the shelves, with countries buying up years worth of supplies in advance, leading to record revenue and profits. Everyone needed access to this “miracle cure,” and government customers were willing to pay big bucks for the supplies.

By all indications, these mRNA shots were a revolutionary game changer. Surely, the data would bear this out in emphatic fashion.

Well, we’re now over one full year into the deployment of the “miracle cure,” and countries that have bought mRNA vaccines in droves cannot demonstrate any discernible difference from nations that decided not to accommodate the mRNA hype.

It did not provide the sterilizing qualities touted by Big Pharma CEOs. Israel, which led the fastest and earliest deployment of mRNA shots, is now staring down an unprecedented 4th dose in a year’s time, and it currently has the highest COVID-19 case rate in the world. As Omicron becomes the world’s ultra dominant variant (with almost every sequenced case in the United States now being reported as Omicron), it is now not clear at all that the shots being sold by pharmaceutical companies provide any benefit at all for Omicron. After only one year, and now 2, 3 or 4 shots deep, depending on where you live, the “miracle cure” doesn’t seem to do anything at all to resolve the continuing virus problem.

On the world stage, the supposed advantage of mRNA is nowhere to be found. It’s very difficult to compare countries, given their different reporting methods. However, given the amazing hype surrounding it, mRNA should be standing out at least to a somewhat noticeable degree. Studies are continuing to reflect the reality that there is no relationship on a global level between particular “vaccinations” and positive outcomes related to COVID-19.

Many are not aware of the fact that China and India, the two biggest countries in the world by population, never adopted the mRNA technology. China is currently using inactivated virus vaccines, while India is mostly using a homemade version of the Astrazeneca viral vector formulation.

Russia, the world’s 10th most populated country, has also balked on mRNA, and Moscow uses its own “Sputnik” viral vector shot.

There are also no discernible statistical differences between countries with a population that has widely accepted novel COVID-19 vaccinations, and nations where citizens have skipped the injection protocol entirely.

Throughout the continent of Africa, hardly anyone at all is “vaccinated” with COVID-19 shots, and there remain no reports of a horrific plague making its way through the continent. In Nigeria, the 7th most populated country, only 2.5% of a 211 million strong population is “fully vaccinated.”

One year into our vaccination campaign, with a reported 10 billion shots in arms, our mRNA “miracle” now seems rather… insignificant. Countries that said no to mRNA ended up with no worse issues than nations that financed tens of billions of dollars in endless supplies of mRNA shots on the backs of their taxpayers. One year into the deployment of this supposed groundbreaking technology, mRNA now seems more mirage than miracle.

Well, YouTube just stuck it to me

—<Quote begins>—

YouTube suddenly decided yesterday that it really didn’t like an episode of the Tom Woods Show from eight months ago.

It’s episode #1898, in which I reviewed ongoing developments in the government’s COVID monomania. Not one thing I said in that episode isn’t backed by a mountain of studies and empirical data. I mean, really: even at this stage we’re still not allowed to say lockdowns are a bad idea? Come on.

So YouTube gave me a strike and has forbidden me to add any content for a week.

Thankfully, the Tom Woods Show is an audio-only show, so not that many people listen on YouTube, which is a video platform. Most people listen on their phones via one of many podcast apps.

For those who do use YouTube to listen, I remind you that I have an Odysee channel, and every single one of my episodes is always available there:

Today’s episode, by the way, was a doozy.

Yes, we know masks are a waste of time and inhibit normal human interaction and cause plenty of other problems (who could possibly think it’s a good idea for developing infants and toddlers not to see human faces?). But today’s episode just obliterates every aspect of the case for them.

My guest is the heroic chart-maker Ian Miller, and we discuss the pre-COVID science on masking, the about face, the laughable so-called studies, and compare the experiences of masked and unmasked places around the world.

There is nothing left of the masking regime by the time we’re done with it.

The Odysee version isn’t yet up, but here’s how you can listen right now (and you’ll enjoy this one for sure):

And one last thing: I would say 2021 taught us that what may seem like reliable employers can suddenly impose unreasonable demands on you, so it might be time to think about creating a little something on the side that the lizard people can’t take away from you.

Here is the standard model that I (and virtually all of my friends who make their livings on the Web) follow, in case you’re interested:

2/3 of Biden’s ‘free’ taxpayer-funded USPS COVID tests were bought from China

—<Quote begins>—

Have you received your “free” USPS delivered COVID-19 test in the mail yet? There’s a two out of three chance that it was made in China, according to data retrieved from government contract records.

Of the 380 million taxpayer-funded COVID-19 tests procured thus far by the Biden Administration, some 250 million of those tests are expected to come from the China-based company Andon Health.

On January 14, the Department of Defense announced that the government had awarded $1.28 billion to iHealth Labs, the U.S. subsidiary of Andon. Notably, Biden Administration officials did not mention the China-based parent company in the announcement.

Andon Health has been making a killing in the United States. They recently received purchase orders from the States of New York and Massachusetts for a combined value of $336 million. Over the past few months, the Chinese company’s stock has increased 10 fold.

Of the remaining taxpayer money that is allocated for “free” COVID tests thus far, $340 million has gone to Switzerland-based Roche, while $306 million was awarded to US-based Abbott Laboratories. Some 20 companies attempted to bid on the testing contract, which is expected to cost taxpayers at least $8 billion.

The Biden Administration also intends to use taxpayer funds to send 400 million “free” N95 masks to Americans. The masks will be depleted from the U.S. government stockpile. A significant portion of the masks are made in China. There remains no evidence that demonstrates N95s work well to stop a virus.

Enriching China-based businesses has become almost commonplace over the course of COVID Mania. U.S. government entities have repeatedly approved China-made tests for American customers.

The Dossier has reported extensively on the Chinese windfall that has come from COVID-19 policies. The FDA has issued emergency use authorization for for at least 10 China-based companies for entry into the American market.

A bit of fast, free money for China.

The rewards are easy to spot.

As for the cost?

They will arrive in due course.

  1. Hi Alvin

Hello from the UK. Excellent, many thanks!

It is so sad that all too often it is the female of the species who makes the most noise and is the most stupid, whilst the brow beaten male sits quietly disagreeing. Not me of course or your good self.

If is isn’t a female it is more often than not a feminised male. I have been out in the world today but my wife and I will probably go to a spa we have joined recently so I can have a sauna fro my health issues. I wonder how many idiot will still be wearing masks.

I have never worn one during all the silliness. I eventually worked out by double checking website that in any event it was guidance anyway, it said so on the website. I had common sense unlike all too many of my fellow citizens who lost the plot.

I don’t know if you would have ever seen this link of mine, but I wrote this hopefully amusing piece on the guidance. I wonder if it would not be possible to do something for the USA. The guidance may be very similar anyway. Here’s the link if you need a laugh.

And would you be interested in these. You can use anything you see fit if it helps.

Note the anagram of Omicron if you haven’t already.

    Yours Baldmichael
