It’s worth noting the instinctive drive for comprehensive censorship and silencing, though.
Our Betters simply do not believe in Free Speech for their enemies du jour, not for the target of their Two Minute Hate. That’s just not how they think.
(I suggest that Our Betters have no real faith or confidence in the strength of their arguments. And as Russia & China’s mouth will not be stuffed with gold, force must be used instead.)
It will take a decade or two for the media universe to properly fragment in the style of China. We should prepare for the time when today’s media management tools fall apart.
The dying Empire may resort to their own Internet Wall, a la China, or move to a different system of more direct mass media control. That will fail too, but it will take time… and the Free Peoples may well suffer for a while.
(The Chinese and the Russians are not the only ones who are aging out. They are just falling faster than the Secularist West, being more controlling and more fearful of an increasingly alien, incomprehensible, and uncontrollable future.
Our Betters have far more in common with them than with us.)
Such a firewall is not necessary at this time, though, as the US has the largest internet information complexes and platforms… and the groupthink of the Tech Tyrants. It will take time for this to change.
It reminds me of the old gatekeeper days, where serious anti-Establishment works with bite were not censored… they were simply spiked, in any mainstream paper or book publisher.
Things are better now, but are on a downturn at the moment. Rarely is there victory after victory without some loss or defeat at one time or another. Wars just don’t work that way.
It will take time for Russians and the Chinese to learn the ropes and make the system work for them. (And as they are rapidly aging, they may never successfully do so!)
As for us? We have different goals, which has little to do with national politics for the next few decades.

- “Run for dogcatcher, then mayor after you have earned your stripes… not president or governor.”
As we have no political power — having deliberately given it up over the last two centuries, in preference for responsibility-free escapism/mysticism — it’s easy to overlook us compared to an outsider with political power.
Our Betters are not infinitely powerful, nor can they pour all their rage everywhere at the same time. They live in a finite universe, with finite time, energy, and energy: and for now, our people — the stubborn survivors of a long-dead Western Christendom — can be ignored at the moment.
(Don’t worry: when they have some free time and energy, Our Betters will eagerly return to spit in our faces again. For old times sake and to prove that they can, if for no other reason.)
And my view?
Russia and China are big boys. They can look after their own interests.
Or not, as the case can be.
We have our own fields to plant and tend to, and our own road to walk on. The Kingdom of God must be built, and expanded: the commandments of Christ has not changed an iota.
So, our orders remain the same. Thus, our failure is on our own shoulders: the faster we repent of our sins before God, and learn the lesson He has used our enemies to beat into our heads, and get back to work, the better.
Keep your eye on the ball: Family and work, children and community and neighbours, responsibility and truth, law and justice. We will rise in power and status to the extent that we have earned it in the eyes of God, by protecting and building up, strengthening and teaching our children, our community and our neighbours in the ways of God.
Watch, Learn, Teach, Work.

The entire nation state of Russia is getting the “Gab treatment” by Big Tech and the globalist regime.
By that I mean they are being systematically purged from the internet all within the span of about a week.
Google is blocking their apps.
Apple is blocking their apps.
YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Telegram have banned or limited access to their accounts.
Twitter has started “fact-checking” and reducing the reach of their links.
YouTube has demonetized their videos.
Reddit has “quarantined” the /r/russia community.
Namecheap, a domain registrar, has cut off ALL Russian customers.
American right wing dissidents are no strangers to any of these things. All of these tools of war have been used against us as American citizens for six years now. In Gab’s case we have been banned from both app stores, domain registrars, and big tech platforms for years. Now these same tools and tactics of war that have been developed and used against us as dissidents are being used against all of Russia.
Other nation states should be paying attention to this. Are you going to continue to allow your citizens to be controlled entirely by a handful of companies in Silicon Valley, or is now perhaps the time to start building your own sovereign technology and infrastructure?
Unlike our spineless Republican “leaders” in America, who had total and complete control over government from 2016-2018 and did absolutely nothing to stop Big Tech tyranny, Russia is fighting back. Russia has shut down Facebook and Twitter completely and this is honestly a smart play. Why give the globalist regime insight into what your citizens are talking about?
Data isn’t just the “new oil,” data in a time of war is priceless. Especially the data of your own people!
Yesterday Gab engineers discovered a massive anti-Russian botnet on our platform, which we quickly banned. There were hundreds of newly created accounts all sharing the same dozen or so IP addresses. They were reposting, commenting, and liking anti-Russian fake news to the Gab Explore page. Our bot detection systems caught them quickly and we removed them from the platform.
This type of activity is eerily similar to CENTCOM’s Operation Earnest Voice. We have no proof who was behind this activity, all we know is what their agenda was: promoting anti-Putin and anti-Russian propaganda. Gab is not a platform for state-backed PSYOP campaigns. We’re not going to allow this coordinated inauthentic activity to take place in our community, not from foreign state actors and not from our own government.
We also aren’t going to ban a foreign news outlet or Russian citizens from Gab for no reason. RT News has been on Gab for over a year now and has never once even come close to violating our terms of service. Gab is now the one place on the internet where you can find RT News and you can do so by clicking here.
